Is ED actually developing anything on this at all or are they instead putting all the effort on the ATFLIR to be finished to have it replace the TGP we have currently?
Thats a good question. Maybe they are hard at work on ATFLIR instead. When did we get our tgp? Wasnt it like early august? Somethings gotta be up if they havent added basic hud indication 6 months after the pod released.

Has HUD symbology for the TGP been implemented yet? I remember seeing talk about it a few months ago. I haven't been on to check in a while.

I agree. It was the first thing I noticed early on. Cockpit looks amazing but like others have said, they look too set back. Still such a good job by ED with the pit.

AG mode
Uncage maverick and select correct laser code
Slew TGP over target and depress tdc
Fire laser with the trigger and look at mav to ensure the x changes to a square and that your in range
Weapon release button.

IIRC thats a personalized option in the data card. DDI pages ect.

Do you mean BW specifically, or non-colour non-map AMPCD? For the latter you can click Mode (if I remember correctly) on the left side (OSB 18 I think) and it should change from a moving map to HSI on black background on our Hornet in DCS. For the former, don't think it's implemented. Although I believe someone mentioned something about changing the font colour through a .lua file, not sure if anyone else might recall this?
I mean specifically white and black hsi when the moving map is hidden.

There have been alot of posts about this in the past. Seems to be an issue with everyone new to CASE1. My advice is to use speed break and dont drop gear or flaps til around 200 instead. Helps alot.

Im also suprised ED hasnt teased any screenshots like they have with litterally every other system before release. Like someone else already said maybe they just want to flesh out more feautures before release.

In another comment he says they're having a status update in a meeting on Monday (i.e. today, 1st July). By 'next week' he just meant week commencing 1st July.
Ah I see. I find it wierd that 5 hours ago he would refer to tommorow as "sometime next week" though. I wouldnt get my hopes up for any news for a few days.

Was watching the fighter pilot podcast earlier today where they comment on a Hornet startup video. They noted it to be around Lot 14 F/A-18C and it had monochrome DDIs like ours but the HSI on the AMPCD was white in black. Was this Lot specific?

Doesnt sound like any chance for TGP this week. Wags states ina. youtube comment earlier today that they "hope to have a status update on the TGP next week"
Sounds like its another OB or two away at best.

Like many others I'm really confused about the current OB/hornet schedule. I know that the Hornet was changed to a monthly pace however the last month the OB has been so hectic that I'm lost. Would be nice if Nine or Wags could maybe clarify what week we are on.

TGP will display as monochrome green only on all 3 displays regardless of Litening or ATFLIR. Some one posted recently that AMPCD uses the ddis display driver. So green on all.

The last big legit open beta update was 6/14. Then they had a small one the 21st. So pretty lost as to what the actual schedule is anymore.

There have been so many delays, and off patch days I honestly have no clue what the schedule cycle is anymore. Im like 80% sure this week is an OB week. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed for a tgp tutorial Tuesday from Wags. Otherwise its another few OBs away it would seem

I also would really like a little more hotas functionality. Seeing how this was moved to wish list, is this information incorrect or not gonna be implemented?

Like markpoints on the f10 map? No..that would sorta defeat the purpose of this being a sim.

You just said yourself the CP is useless to target in dcs. So 80k is actuallly not a thing. That said. Like others have posted, going in with JSOWs and HARM at the same time kinda doesnt make sense. HARMS first for SEAD and the JSOWs after for DEAD. If the launchers target the HARMS its actualy a good thing. Clear path in for the JSOWs.
In a perfect world these would be two seperate flights. But can make do with a single F18.

In a seperate thread I asked if the TGP is still on scedule for June. Wags stated they cant promise any dates but that the engineer "still feels confident"

Been a while since I drove the hornet, but I'm pretty sure there's a way to exit. Maybe something like TMS Left.
F18 does not have a TMS switch. I always use paddle I believe.
