SSDP in the END! Just as an update, the issue was not gone until I found this forum with this solution and so far it has worked for me: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/windows-10device-manager-keeps-refreshing/85be52ef-414f-4a3e-8a62-d30ee74d6575?page=2&rtAction=1572116207711 SSDP! -
Trackir Unplugged/Plugged message... Still!

Right some news: After many weeks of investigation and testing I have found a resolution for now: The answer for me was: The LED edge connector under the I/O shroud on my motherboard was not quite connected or loose!!!! I have an Asus ROG STRIX Z370 E Gaming Mobo and I noticed that my onboard IO port shroud had stopped illuminating as it should. This was I thought purely coincidental and I have never bothered with installing the Aura app to control it as I have no additional LED strips but even deciding to download the Aura app and running it did nothing to bring it back and illuminate. After some research I discovered others had the same issue with the LED not functioning. The fix to get the LED resolved was to remove the mobo completely and carefully remove the IO shroud which will expose the edge connector for the LED. THE CLUE TO THE TRACK IR UNPLUGGED ISSUE LIES HERE. I surmised that if the Aura app can manipulate a shroud LED then the LED must be a device under device manager so before I proceeded I opened device manager, opened DCS in a window and ran the sim. Every time I got the notification and subsequent pause I noticed a Device Manager refresh! This was for me completely predictable under my suspicions so after several minutes of this I decided to shut down and do the work on the shroud. In short, it worked, the Track IR message has gone, I have now re-installed my camera and track IR and used DCS for over 4 hours without a single issue except the usual pauses and glitches but NO Track IR unplugged messages at all. Conclusion As suspected, after I noticed the Device Manager refreshing at the same time as the message TrackIR Unplugged / plugged message appeared / disappeared which suggested to me it was hardware. After many previous hours adding and removing software and USB devices to no avail, finding the LED shroud connector being loose was my answer. This may not be your answer and I am in no way suggesting you all disassemble your rigs but check out you device manager, check your led and other devices as in the end it was hardware not software although DCS still has these annoying pauses even though my rig is high spec: Rog Strix Z370 E G 32 GB Ram i7 8700 4.7GHz Asus Nvidia RTX 2080 8GB OC Hope this helps somebody out as it did me.... -

Interestingly I have removed Office 365 and the message TrackIR Plugged / Unplugged has disappeared but even more interesting is that I still get refreshes in Device Manager (Random) and pauses in DCS.... -

Yeah I'm getting this as well. Just started last update on both the stable and beta...not figured it out yet but I have tried everything so far, no joy - anybody? -
Falling through ground I have this also and many aircraft including the A4. But, it only seems to happen on Quick Mission for me, not under Mission or Campaign or instant Action. It's weird. If I go for a cold and dark startup in any aircraft, under Quick Mission, when the first engine is fired, say on the FA /18 my aircraft simply disappears below ground and eventually if left , DCS simply CTD! If I hit ESC before the CTD and restart the mission you can do the same again but never get to the point of taxi ....this happens on both the stable and Beta releases and this bug has been an issue for a few months now. You are right it also happens if you are in a free flight and decide to land. It also happens if you start in the air and land. Not sure what to do...if it's the aircraft I have bought then this is really bad. I only have one mod as I call it, and that's the A4. Any ideas on how to resolve this would be great. I never use multiplayer mode so can't comment but the issue is at least consistent for me. I have not attempted to remove the mods or planes I have bought. Are mods the same as the planes, so I have the F14 / F18, some Migs, pretty much all of them...so lots of mods. It makes Quick Mission for me impossible to use.

2D CTD *** UPDATE *** Using DCS Stable 1. Not using VR, this time in 2D with Track IR 2. Selected Mig 29A in Quick Mission 3. Tried to land an BOOM CTD 4. Logs Attached ...and using the Harrier whilst trying to land I go through the runway and under the ground.. WTF...this is in 2D, NO track IR / HMD! dcs.log-20190728-230630.zip

No Dice still Right Guys tried everything still no dice: 1. Repaired DCS (both) 2. Repaired Oculus Whenever the aircraft (Any module hits the deck, lands or takes off, interacts with the ground) it CTD's. Logs attached Cheers logs.zip

By the way, all other games work great, no issues!

Sounds like a plan on both options. I will attempt repairs on DCS. I have already tried repairs on Oculus and the latest drivers are on. I will opt into the Public test channel for rift s, good idea. Cheers @svsmokey and dburne

Hi all, So this is way weird. Since the last 2 updates I have seen a noticeable drop in performance in DCS World and some weird CTD issues plus very weird behavior on Take off. So for example in a quick mission: I typically select the A10C or F18, start from runway, in any map, any weather, any time of day with random enemies etc...and on rolling the aircraft drops below the runway! WTF! You can recover but you are flying underneath the map! EH! Also, you can fly through the map and resume the flight, only you cannot land! This happens in both the beta and stable with Oculus Rift S only. Not in 2D! Every time this happens either at the beginning of the flight or during I experience a FULL CTD event. I always opt to send the data so the devs will have it. So currently for me, I cannot use DCS since the last 2 updates with my HMD at all. Anybody else experiencing this?
