  1. Thank you for your helpful, although sarcastic reply. I saw that thread a nd missed the two missions that were buried coffin deep in it, which is why I posted a note here in the appropriate forums... user made missions. I now see why new people stay as far away from the sim community as possible. But again thank you for pointing out the enormous error in my ways
  2. anybody made a short and sweet aerial refueling mission... like air start behind the tanker aways then just practicing hitting the mark :joystick:
  3. Double check who your sound card and speakers are set up, make sure your set for 5:1 or whatever your particula setup is.
  4. Success, I ripped everything apart and found it was a hardware setup " glitch". I use headphones off the center(black) port of a SBaudigy card... I hooked up my creative t7700 speakers so that the 3d surround ports were being used then ran my headphones off of the controller module of the speakers and viola. Strange I have never had this problem with anything else, even other Eagle titles they must be doing something different with the 3d environment sound and how the sound card ports see that change. After reinstalling Dx and everything my i world sound still was not working so I started looking at how my rig was setup. I hadnt started here due to the fact that every other program, to include BS worked fine. For some reason A10beta did not send 3d world sound down the center channel where I had jacked my headphones into. I even tried putting headphones into the left and right sides with the same result... 2d gui music and effects but no ingame. When I ran my creative surround speakers in utilizing all the ports on the SB audigy card everything came up beautiful. Just a heads up for those still having sound issues after updating Dx 16th Lawndart

  7. I know the game doesnt run direct 11, is there a file I can look at to see what version of directx is being enabled on game start. I ran the updater, tried windows compatability modes and still no in game sound just GUI sounds. I am using headphones off the soundcard which shouldnt make a differnce cause I still get audio in the GUI.
