  1. How is this a surprise to anyone who's been around the block with RAZb, there track record of any module they released has been poor at best, with updates, releasing it and the list goes on.   Just because you pre ordered it won't make it come any faster.   It is what it is, when the DCS team and Raz they have a module that passes the first release test it will be out. It's a complex jet so let them get it to a standard the we can accept.   I wait just like you players, if you can't wait ask for a refund, I mean its just silly some of the comments I see in the last few pages.  Some of you guys should of never pre-ordered it lol

  2. Your forgetting how these jets are sold and marketed.... wonderful road map and timelines, reality is empty promises and nothing gets completed, or its so slow, players give up and its long forgotten for the reasons above in my previous post.   Anyone who's been around PC gaming, ( I have since the Vic-20) know no game is perfect and the fact is never will be, that's not the issue here.

  3. What did expect? lol .. I blame the players pushing devs,  saying, I need this jet, I want this jet, they should make this jet... but yet have no clue the amount of work that goes into developing these jets, and then you have ED showing off a A6 in a official DCS trailer for something else and players assuming its a full fidelity aircraft that is just around the corner for release ..

Meanwhile 3+ years on no sign of the Viggen been completed, players have moved on, I hardly ever see if been flown on MP servers. It's not bringing in the cash and HB are forced to focus on modules that are the next cash cow, with less resources been used on the Viggen.

Yes it easy to blame HB but they are not the problem it's the player base... all these 3rd party devs are the same, with RAZ been the worst.

Look at the stupid thread that was created by some noob "Heatblur F-4 Phantom"    the list go on and on.  That OP has NO clue, just money in his pocket to incite devs and watch he will be long gone from DCS even if there is ever a F4 released.

Bottom line is ED and the 3rd party devs don't want to have this conversation, its not in their interests when they are trying to bring money in the door and players don't want to wait forever no matter how bad the beta release is as long as they get what they want.

Yeah and lets see where thats got us. F-16 was released without even a damage model and half baked and even with the additions in a few days its still not going to be finished (tho I will say ED has gotten a lot better) and neither is the F-18 finished

As for RAZBAM they have routinely shown their inability to put out a module without major issues. the Harrier, Mirage and Mig 19 had terrible launches to the point where they had to get the French airforce in anyway to help them with the Mirage.

The Harrier is now "feature complete" and out of EA despite its current state so RazzleBazzle can now push the F-15E out before or around the end of the year despite not even having a physical model yet (they're using the AI F-15E current) to say I'm skeptical about the F-15E's release and anything else from RB would be an understatement.

Razbam said that the license for the A-6 was taken already...and heatblur has stated their new module will be 2 engined and "complex" yet also stated that they aren't moving over to it till the F-14 is totally finished which is currently projected to be around March 2021.

Nick has already stated ED barely runs at a profit and that hes had to put his own money to pay for some things and thats EVEN WITH all the sales and other stuff. The reason HB don't do sales is because they only have 2 products and they know people will buy them at full price anyway because they are quality products.

For all we know they may have been working on a full fidelity module of an A-6 for years now but like they did with the Tomcat but haven't told us because Heatblur doesn't need to ride the hype train to sell EA products before people repeat the process of "realizing" that the product they've bought doesn't even have a damage model.

I don't know about you but I would prefer to wait a little longer and buy a quality product at $127 AUD then buying a 20% off EA product that is half baked and won't get all its systems and weapons for another 2-3 years

    All good points...

Don't forget the Viggen that was released in Nov 2, 2017 for the Viggen and still not out of beta lol ... 3+ years ago.

We still don't have an official mission for the the Viggen was designed for operating out of roads.

While I agree on you waiting 1-2 years for a "proper" release, these 3rd party devs need the pre-release income to support their business which IMO is a dangerous game.  The downside is 3rd party's devs feel pressured to release something, when they do lot's of bugs and issues and the buyer complains, kinda dammed if you do, dammed if you don't... plus IF one of them was to go out of business before its released don't expect ED to give you a refund, its a digital product and might we will be fairy dust lol

  5. Others spend their leftover money on going out with the boys and gain nothing but bad memories, regrets and worse hangovers and the absolute s**ts due to a bad kebab. I spend my leftover money on modules I feel is interesting enough for me to spend money on, and hope that they one day become as bug free as it is possible to get them.

That's why the Viper was a first-day purchase for me, even though I knew full well it would be VERY rough around the edges. That's also why I bought the Harrier, which is the aircraft that has given me quite a lot of fun, excitement and outright hysterical giggles, despite/because of the bugs it has.

If one can't foot the bill for a module that turns out to be trash or not the right kind of module, maybe people should re-evaluate their purchase-habits. Just a thought.

Indeed, but you only need to look at the last 50 pages and see many people complaining, not just this thread but many many others all the way to ED's modules. My point is they know this going in paying for an uncompleted module, demand the next module while the 1st one they paid for is unfinished, developers see the $$$$ potential on cash today for something they don't have to deliver on and its another endless cycle of these threads, you paid for something that's unfinished and you pre-paid for a mod that's not released lol ..... how do players expect anything good to come that from scenario? This is my whole point if you don't like it stop pre-paying and in directly pressuring them to release early mods

  6. AV/8B+ -prob 3 years away

Mig-19S - not going to be soon its not a great plane tbh

Mirage 2000-5 - when ED sorts out ground radar yes but again a few years off

AMX - just needs coding and will be in the next 2 years

Bronco- not in the pipline, was a tease and will be years

Lightning - best plane - im doing the textures for this one, likely next year

    Canberra - is AI

F-100 - just a tease, its NOT coming for many years !

Mirage 3,Super Etendard s- still not sure when but at first they are ai !

Strike Eagle in modelling stage and will be the next module

Mig-23, with carlos and a year off

Bo-105, this is not our module we will look at coding it when its modelled

    Ia-58- AI

Sea Harrier, ai for Falklands then will be a module

A-29 for the Ecuadorian air force and yes its coming to DCS.

basically you are looking at these coming in stages before you all get your knickers in a twist !

F15sE, Tucano and mig 23 re the next planes coming from razbam.

Then and only after the above are finished it will be :EE Lightning, Sea Harrier and the BO-105.

The rest are way down the line.

    Absolute madness lol

F15sE, Tucano are 5 year projects before they ever get 100% completed If at all ....... That's right kiddies keep throwing your $$$$ into projects that have unrealistic timelines to be completed, YOU KNOW THIS GOING IN but you still pay and then cry about it later.

When I look at this RAZBAM need to be more responsible with silly teasers of what's coming down the line and focus and finishing modules.

And where's ED in all this...???? Staying silent as usual just raking in the %%% $$$$ and laughing all the way to the bank your are expense LOL :megalol:

Stop paying for Alpha/Beta modules from unreliable 3rd parties that have a history of selling you nothing but unrealistic timelines for completed modules.

  7. What a cluster ...RAZBAM me has always been one of those Developers that over promises and under delivers on timelines, but honestly the only people to blame are yourselves, people keep asking for this and that.. I Demand the F-15E, are we there yet lol ... you guys are unbelievable, I say reap what you sow since you keep supporting them and throwing $$$$ until 3-5 year projects that never get completed.

Personally I think they did a good job in the Mirage 2000, the FM is done very well but this community at some point has to look in the mirror and stop asking and paying for garbage let them finish one module and then move on to the next, every week another silly thread what about this, WHEN WHEN !!!, I need!!! I want !! ... just never stops, no wonder =DECOY= stepped down lol

49 pages of cry's and its glorious lol You think RAZZy care, let me let you into a little secret THEY have YOUR $$$$$ why would they care, your along for the ride and they will take their sweet time since you the community keep demanding and asking for new mods to be released.

At some point you the DCS community needs to take a look at your self's and be accountable for your actions and wonder how they got themselves into this mess in the 1st place .... by keep asking for more and then paying for an unfinished module

  8. I'm going to try Wag's settings... I'm using the following

Intel Core i9 10900K (CPU Liquid Cooling)

    2080Ti

32 GB RAM FURY DDR4 XMP at 3200MHz

    2TB M.2 PCIe SSD

I'll let you know how it looks lol

  9. This is my Eurofighter, has 100% scale cockpit (not installed at picture), disk brakes, takes the same fuel as the real version, produces around 40lbs of thrust from the Turbine and flies around 180mph if I want too, usually I'm in the pattern preforming high alpha maneuvers. Cockpit and air brake are controlled by the radio, complete functional nav and landing lights... and yes I have a pilot :)

  10. Just asked for an update - no mention of specific dates on release or asking to hurry and don't care about race with other products. Just a comment or two on how it is progressing - is all. After all, you guys did release pics and such which one would think would require some follow-up?

Doesn't pay to read too much into a simple question. I can spend my money anywhere.

lol your wasting your time with these guys, cryptic responses, they announce products, build up the hype and then full of excuses on delays and other nonsense. They have a history of it.

  11. Exactly. And by that equation all DCS modules are way too cheap.

rrohde, ( and this is not directed at you, since I know do did all you can) VKB can't talk broken promises / timelines, lack of customer service.

I waited well over one year and just gave up

Its not about what's cheap and the escalation cost, this is about getting fair value with the correct support and more importantly when DEVs comes out "selling the dream" that they stick with what they are selling and stick to a timeline that they can work with. Too often Dev's sell and dump then focus on the next project. FACT : its happened plenty of times with DCS modules and they are all guilty of it.
