  1. Puma, Thanks for the advice Zoom in and zoom out has now mysteriously cured itself, only for the trackball on my HOTAS to go haywire. Frustrated to h*ll an back but I'll get it sorted.
  2. Good Evening, Just an enquiry to find out if anyone out there is suffering from a random "zoom in" function? Basically, I have my viewing position set at where I can see the canopy bow and rear view mirrors, as well as look around the immediate cockpit surrounds, only for an un-commanded "zoom in" to occur at random intervals (between 5 - 30 seconds), where all I can see is the HUD and UFC. I reset using the "zoom out", which I have set at keyboard /. Even so, it sometimes stutters before engaging. This also happens when I look over the wings. I have checked my settings to see if there is any command conflict but there does not appear to be so. Any ideas?
  3. Wrench, lahsoldier, Emmy, Faelwolf, USMC Trev & Master Degadis, Thanks for your response and advise- yes, it was me being a plank for not setting the elevation. As to the Mavericks, I think I need to refer to YouTube tuition more....the one for dummies!
  4. Good Evening, After a number of months away I have returned to the A10C (on DCS World Open Beta) and I am encountering a number of issues. Firstly, I am under the impression that when a waypoint is input, it is over a fixed point on the ground, irrespective of whether it is a bridge or lake and as you draw closer the marker drops down the HUD until you overfly it. Am I understanding correctly? Currently my waypoints seem to hover about 3-5 degrees above the horizon and irrespective of distance remains there. Secondly, and I think this maybe tied into the above, I cannot get Mavericks to lock onto anything or even to release. Any input will be appreciated
  5. Hi Sirius, Thanks for the rapid response. Basically, when I select and fire a Maverick the game freezes and I get the following error message. "...DCS has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available..." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NB: I tried to replicate the issue with the Mavericks again tonight but this time they locked on and fired with no issue. However, I then had cause to eject and on hitting Ctrl EEE the game again froze and I had the same error message. Regards
  6. Good evening Ladies and Gents, Before I submit my plea for help, I think it is only fair to advise you that I am not very IT savvy, so if you are able to offer any advice, please be aware of my lack of IT familiarity. Ok here goes, I play from a disc (1.1.1.1) and every time that I select Mavericks and press the fire button the game just crashes. I do not play on line (not even close to competent yet)! The specs for my PC are: Processor -Intel ® Core i5 - 7400 CPU@3.00GHz 3.00GH Installed Memory (RAM) - 16.0GB (15.9 GB usable) System Type - 64 bit -Operating System x64-based processor Graphic Card - Nvidia GeForce 1050Ti For gaming equipment I use a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog set-up with Saitek rudder pedals. I also have DCs World and DCS World Open Beta on the PC (if that information is useful to you). Any and all assistance will be really appreciated. Thanks for your time.
