  1. Try turning down the symbology brightness with the SYM +/- button on the upper left corner of mfcd's.
  2. Click on UFCP APR then CRS (for Cruise) and you are back in navigation mode :)
  3. Waypoints from 41 to 49 are reserved to markpoints, how do you put markpoints via the ME ? Anyway, when you enter a new alt for the waypoint you're editing you must put all the numbers in. Ex : for 125ft you need to enter 00125. If you just input 125 it will give you an error. Edit : My bad I didn't click the INU thumbnail on the ME, yes aparently you can't modify the altitude from those if you copy paste them. A bug maybe ? When you create those waypoints via the Markpoint functions it works tho
  4. So block 3 confirmed ? ಠ‿ಠ
  5. You need to disconnect from the datalink in order to display tacan etc on the HSD.
  6. I've tested it, it works as intended :D
  7. Ok i've never seen or heard of them before my bad :/ Mods please delete
  8. Hello, first thank you Deka for this awesome module ! After the OB update yesterday I found new ground radar modes, in MAP and GMTI modes. They are called EXP (for exposure ?), DBS1 and DBS2. Those are not referenced anywhere in the changelog (maybe due to the early release of the patch this feature was not meant to be implemented just yet?) and they are accessible after locking the radar somewhere on the ground and using S2 left. For GMTI only EXP mode is available. These appear to be somewhat top down view of the area you locked, it looks really sharp (for DBS1&2 modes) I guess the API for proper ground radar returns isn't there yet. Anyway it's a great way to find and inspect targets even tho it's hard to adjust the position of the radar in those modes as it seems the movement you make are transposed on the regular MAP or GMTI view (the classic green one) so if you move just a little it could mean you moved few nautical miles away from your original lock point (hard to explain, english is not my native tongue sorry). Another note, the zoom level for those modes appear to be correlated with the azimuth of the radar : 15° is more zoomed than 60°. Any info on this will be much appreciated as this seems to improve the already very efficient ground radar ! Here's some screenshots :
  9. Ok, thanks for the quick answer :)
  10. Is it possible to assign a normal map for a model that don't have them originaly ?
  11. Does this means it use data from the diffuse map and convert it to spec using json ?
  12. Hi, first time poster, long time lurker. I have a question, I've been making skins for various flight sims and got pretty comfortable with the different technologies (alpha, specularity and so on). But outside photoshop I'm a little bit lost, especially in DCS  So here's the thing : I was finishing a skin for the Su-25A when the 2.5 came out, I was really happy and wanted to check the model via the openbeta model viewer and realised that the skin was way to much shinny, like it was bare metal all around the airplane. I made some skins for other airplanes in DCS before that were using specularity, so I tried to find those in an effort to tweak them to make the plane a little bit less bright, only to find that the Su-25 doesn't even have them... Finnally I heard of this new PBR rendrering thing, wich looks quite good, but couldn't for the life of me make it work for the Su-25. I tried everything, including removing the json file only to find the airplane even more shinnier :( Before I continue does the fact that the Su-25 doesn't even have specularity files is the reason I can't get it to PBR ? Or is there a way to do this and I made something wrong ?
