its a bit strange about water , but my game jump to 20 ,25 fps with water , i dont know why rsrs , well only my gpu its high end , cpu its a i7 2700k at 4.3 ghz

The biggest killer fps settings for me its the water quality and civ traffic , i can run 2.0 ppd with this two on lowest/disabled , i strongly recomend play in VR , the immersion helps a lot , its other life, not even compares to a monitor ...about the reading huds and gauges, you can and should set a button on your controller to zoom, so when you need to look some better just zoom in , but playing in Vr its like a coaster ride , if you have stomach go for it. Edit: i still playing on 1.5.8

I am a rookie on DCS world , playing in VR with i7 2700k ,Gtx 1080 for me water quality and Civ traffic are the most sensitive settings to kill the frames , with this two on lowest possible ,i can run all other stuff with good quality , view range medium and ppd 2.0 with stable 45 fps in VR, but i still on previous build 1.5.8
