I downloaded the demos tonight since I wanted to give them a try but having some issues. It seems like I always drift to the left and can't keep a level flight. I'm using a X52. Is there something that would cause me to always drift to the left? I have Black Shark and never have a drift issue so I don't think it is the controller itself.

After purchasing Black Shark and loving it, I'm thinking about buying LOMAC, the original without initially Flaming Cliffs. I can get it pretty cheap off ebay. However, most people selling it on ebay so they only have the CD in a sleeve. Did the original game come with a CD activiation code? I just want to make sure I don't waste my money and then find out I didn't receive a code. Thanks!

Can you fire a missile and then immediately move until the next target and fire anothe missile and then etc. Or do you have to keep the single target locked until the missile hits and then move on to your next target?

I thought I heard it mentioned in one of the video demos (could be wrong) that you could zoom in and make the objects in the Shkval appear to be real close? Is that true and if so, what commands are required?

I own the English version and when flying a mission, the voices telling me what to do are in Russian. English subtitles do appear, but the voices are in Russian. Is it possible to hear the voices in English? Would be great to just have to listen versus read text?

That is what I thought, but I have tried that and top speed I can get is sometime 171. I must be doing something else wrong.

So far, I have only been able to achieve speed at roughly 130-150. However, during some missions I'm told to achieve 250 but for the life of me can't figure out how to get speed any higher. Anybody have suggestions?

When I go into the options screen where you can setup controls, the "save" and "load" options are not selectable. How do I make these work? I have a profile I would like to load but no idea on how to make it happen. The "load" button is not something that I can select. Any ideas?

Thanks everybody for your input. Today, I decided to take the plunge:) Surprisingly, I was able to go with the X52. When I was out shopping, happened to stop at a store that was going out of business and found a brand new X52 for only $60! The Avaitor was going to cost me $45 so I think I got a great bargain. Now I just have to wait until the game downloads....

Were your friends on their third one because they like them so much or they kept breaking?

Thanks guys..this might give me some hope. I was thinking about the Saitek - Aviator Joystick. Seems to be in my price range. Anybody have experience with that one?

This game looks very good and very eager to purchase. However, I don't have the necessary cash to buy both the game and a fancy set of Flightsticks/controls which seem necessary to play this game. I don't own any controls at this time. Therefore, I was wondering what the minimal type of Joystick/controls people are using to still be able to play the game reasonably well? Again, I'm looking for the lowest dominator I could get away with and still be able to enjoy. Is it just a flightstick like from Logitech or do you really need the top end stuff (i.e. saitek, etc.)? Thanks!

Thanks for the info and sounds like the right thing to do. This might be the wrong place to ask this, but can anybody recommend any reasonably affordable controls? I do not need the top of the line, just something that will work with the majority of simulators out there. Thanks.

Thanks everybody...the price is certainly right. My only other concern right now is I don't really have any of the flight equipment like a flight stick. All I have is standard mouse and keyboard. From what I heard, doesn't really sound sufficient for this type of game. Maybe when I get some extra $$$ and can afford both the game and controls, I can give it a try. By that time, maybe the english version will be out then, but I'm guessing the price will be much higher then:(

Not sure where I ever mentioned in my original post that I did not want to support these developers or gave any indication they were lazy. I simply asked the question to see if it was possible to get the English version later through a patch or something (some software makes language mods available). That question was answered and I accept that and will make my decision based on it. Although I'm all for supporting developers when they come out with a good product like this seems, I'm not sure most people make it a regular habit to buy the same product twice. I guess it is every person's own decision. Again, I mean no disrespect to the developers or other people here on the forum. It does seem like it has the potential to be a very good game and will most defintely purchase once the English version comes out. I

All the great posts here makes me eager to want to purchase this game. However, since everything appears to be in Russian, could be daunting. Therefore, I have a question. If I purchase the Russian version now, would I have to re-purchase the Western version when it comes out if I want things in English? Or will there be some kind of upgrade/patch that will allow me to apply it to the Russian version? I would hate to have to purchase two versions. Thanks!
