I exclusively play multiplayer, as non-scripted singleplayer (campaigns) is a tedious mess. The AI cheats (in e.g. detection, situational awareness, flight model) and repeatedly demonstrates a lack of intelligence in flying. But more important than all of this, the singleplayer feels sterile in its interactions. I do not want to merely fly the airplanes, I want to pretend to be a fighter pilot, and this is fulfilled with other players rather than the current AI.
