Nope, it's just mirroring your headset.I have an Odyssey VR headset and a Dell 2K monitor I run concurrently.
If I reduce the monitor resolution, would that decrease the load on the Nvidia graphics card enough to get better VR headset performance?

Repair dcs and try again.

Do you have a graphics driver installed? Try repair dcs and delete fxo in saved games. here "C:\Users\%username%\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\fxo"
After that try it again, your game may load little bit longer it need rebuild fxo again.

I forgot to check the folders in MODS, two of them had the wrong 'Input' folder.
By removing them (useless since they are AI planes), everything became functional again.

Yeah it's possible but pc's wouldn't handle that... I think nineline wrote something into comments on this topic.In the DCS wake turbulence video, there are some cool visualizations of a slice of air being disturbed by passing aircraft. This looks to all occur in-engine, so to a layman like myself it seems that extending the wake-turbulence onto smoke particles wouldn't be a wholly impossible task. It's entirely possible that I am just too damn stupid with regards to this, so maybe someone could chime in if I seem to be off in my thinking.

You can add point to map and your teammates will see it just double click and you will create one, if you just 1 click to that circles on your screenshot it will popup more info if anyone write smth here.

I just test it, i´ve had about 70-77 FPS at your setting.
My specs:
CPU AMD R7 3800x
RAM 2x16 Gskill 3600 CL16
dcs on M2
GPU GTX 1080ti From Gigabyte
