I have a 7800x3d with a 4090 and 64gb ram having just started using frame rate display it shows I'm CPU limited, I am guessing this is normal? If you have a 9800x3d or 9950x3d are you still Cpu limited?

Thanks, I'm really struggling with DCS in VR at mo, I can play a quick start mission such as Spitfire free flight over the channel for around 5-10 mins that it just freezes?

Forgive the basic question, Do you have to have Pimaxplay running 1st and then start DCS through the my assets page or is there another way to start DCS directly into VR?

Hello I am using the Pimax OXR runtime.

Suddenly in last couple of weeks when I have tried to play DCS it just freezes and PC is Unresponsive. for example I go to instant action -Spitfire -take off , DSC opens Im sitting in the aircraft on the runway then freeze ! Works perfectly fine if not in VR. I updated Pimax play to 134.01.1 as I read in the release notes ' Addressed an issue causing system freezes. (only for Crystal Light) ' I have no Idea where to start in order to trouble shoot this other than reinstall all the pimax software and start again. any help would be apricated. Don't know either how to create a system signature however using 4090 64 gb ram and 7800x3d etc.

Having finally got a new setup capable of playing DCS having started playing in VR in 2019 I gave up as my system just couldn’t cut it. So much has changed since and I really don’t know where to start which settings i need to change in Nvida control panel and DCS etc. Rather than scrolling through pages of these forums I Would appreciate any suggestions as to the best settings to get started with? I am using my old Reverb Gen 1 and now a Asus 4090 GPU with an AMD 7800X3D + Asus Strix X670 E-E + 64GB S-Skill Trident DDR5 6000 Ram. Planning to get a Crystal light now. Any help much appreciated thanks!

Well after months of deliberation (and saving) I finally bit the bullet and bought a 4090 installed it today, now I need to update my headset from Reverb G1 to ????

So I've been patiently waiting for the Super cards to arrive, now (reading the reviews) it seems to me the 4080 super is not much of an improvement over the 4080 but the 4070TI super is better than the 4070TI. Is that good enough to run a Quest 3? Is the 4080 much better than 4070TI Super? Just cannot afford a 4090.

does that mean i dont have to install WMR?
