Thank man been doing that all day. Temps seem fine. GPU never breaks 60s . Cpu around 50s (360mm water block on there) I dont get the whole 0.00 video card memory used thing. My other system had a running number as world loaded into memory. It was also incredibly smooth. This pc doesnt look as good lol . I got it just for dcs too. Im going to run the usual tests like you said and see where that goes. Ill report back after . Thanks for reply. If anyone has any idea of why vid card memory usage is ALWAYS at 0 (when using right ctrl print screen) please shout out. ty I ran a latency checker and its always above 1000us but usually in yellow. Never green. A few red bars here and there. It wasnt any of the usb ports that I can tell. I think this is looking like some crappy driver issue tbh.

Whats up all. Just upgraded to a rtx 2080 ti / 10700k. Im seeing 0 video memory usage (right control /print screen 2x). I was expecting a some performance boost. But this is worse than my 8700k/ 1080 ti /rifts combo. Im wondering if i have a defective component somewhere. Has anyone heard of any issues like this? I googled it and no results regarding 0 video mem usage. Aside from that its not that smooth. There is noticable choppiness which I wasnt getting in free flight before. I tweaked it pretty much exactly as before (no msaa) , toned settings down, still performance issues. I just put the pc together today so Im hoping its something easy to fix. Id hate to return it all. Its literally an entire new z490 build . My settings are identical to many who posted here regarding optimal settings. crap

Hey thank you. Just out of curiosity, (I see that you are using rift), what recomendations would you have to what I should assign the RZ axis on the throttle ? Its a really cool control that I used alot in elite dangerous. All the profiles Ive seen have this axis assigned to zoom (which I cant). I was thinking rudders since i dont have any and not a fan of the twist

I just wanted to say I figured out the problem. Because Im using rift, the conventional zooms dont work. (I tested this without rift and it works fine). Something to do with fov which is fixed in vr. Found a vr zoom (ran across it on a search) so thats a good workaround for zooming .

Heya thank you much for reply, yes thats the one! There is 2 diff.lua files. One for joystick and one for hotas. I think (like you said) I have to make modifier buttons. Let me try that and thanks again.

Hello , Im having several issues. Just got hornet and wow! Using it with rift really looks incredible. Right now im just trying to set up controls. I got 2 lua files for joystick and hotas (t16000m) and I would like to use them. Im just not sure how. Its not intuitive. I moved the files to the fa18 folder in mods directory and was able to select the lua file in load profile but it does nothing. None of the controls show up (or work). I have steam version. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have. Also I started trying to manually add controls and for zoom in and zoom out, I would like to assign t16000m hotas joystick z axis. However when I press the z axis (either + or -) dcs does not detect it. It does detect when I press buttons.

Hello, I have been a dcs customer since the first blackshark. I have purchased that on standalone (before steam) and also purchased a10 warthog. Ive had to recently replace a hdd and have lose these games which were purchased years ago when they came out. Is there any way to get them back? Also I have purchased p51d and mig 21 on steam (7 keys and 15 keys remaining for those two). Is there any way to have all my games in one place under steam (or outside of steam in standalone)? I am looking into purchasing f/a 18 but very worried I am not getting a permanent game and that like ive lost a10 and blackshark , Im not willing to pay 80 dollars for a temporary download dependent on hardware longevity , unless someone can let me know I am doing something wrong to try and get these games back.

Ive set up my monitors working properly. I made a very simple profile with 2 mfcds, and 2 mfd's i got out of the tool box. Ive added the a10c interface, and Profile editor gave me the message "your dcs a-10c configuration is up to date". What is it that i have to do to get the mfcd buttons to work in game? Ive been at this pretty much all day and feel like a blind rat. Manual only says to please help!

What im trying to figure out is if i can load up the helios crap on the 5760x1200 display, which is unseperable because it is part of surround, and have a 4th monitor just so helios will run. I want to keep my 3 monitor setup pretty much the same, but WITH the button functions that helios can provide (like adding buttons to my mfcd's for example). EDIT.. OK ... it just clicked.. I cant use sli which is fine i think.
