ParkControl shows no effect! But strange: I could avoid massive freezes while taxiing on airbases on Iraq-map with an old trick I noticed in the freezing-thread: Task manager/DCS.exe/Set processor affinity/Activate only 1 core (No. 1)/Ok/Then activativate all 4 cores/Ok! Result: No freezes anymore, strange! Any way to automize this process?

@Moezilla: Ok, will patch to ...12722 this evening. Do you think the problem is solved after that? What settings do you use in ParkControl?

THX! Now I have patched to Win 11 and indeed had no freezes since patching last weekend! Also the problem with the communication menu is solved. the reason for this problem was a program running in the background (fraps) which has implemented hotkey F1 for starting movie-record, I never use!! This F1-key is used in com-menu, so everytime pressing F1 in the com-menu a video-record started . Result: Fps-impact and 670 GB hidden movie-file on the SSD - oh man, what a bull....t! This is a good example that as possible no tool should work in the background!!

Thanks for your reply. Have now patched to Win 11. No problems here after that although I reactived firewall! Great! No crahes in 2 missions. Will test furthermore and report!

First ever I have deactivated firewall and rebooted Win 10 once again. No crash then over 1,5 hours. Seems that win have to start "acuratly". Ok, will update to win 11. DCS-BIOS.log dcs.log-20250719-214543.zip

Do you have better experiences with Win 11. Just had a crash once again!! (Login failure or anything else)

Strange! After restarting Windows, no more problems in 1,5 hour-mission! What´s that???

Same issue here since last update. Also startup from mission editor with Iraq map. For luck always in early phase of the mission. Single player mission. No VR here!

Hi felipesm, surely the problem are the commands via command menue (in Iraq-map). That´s clear now! The problem is I´m flying always in offline self made missions, never in multiplayer campains. So occasionally commands to KI are necessary - and that´s the problem. Tried now to solve the problem via direct commands, i.e.: F5-keystroke for "Engage Bandits". But the first in a started mission command via direct keytroke doesn´t work, but all further direct commands work. So i can solve the bug partially. But for tower commands there are no direct commands available - only commands via command menu Anyone with the same issue?

See attached file. Mission for Iraq-map and F-16 module. No other problems with this mission except the command-problems. The effect is reproducible in every phase of the mission. You can notice the fps-impact even on the start ramp if you only open a conversation with tower or wingmen . F-16_Strike_to_Iraq_Bagdad_II-2.miz

Now it´s absolutely clear: Every time I gave a command (i.e. engage bandits) to flight or ATC I got an fps-impact from 60fps (constant) to 29 fps for 30 seconds. I repeated this 15 times with a timedistance of about one minute - every time the same framerate-impact. Think it´s a bug. p.s.: I use the keystrokes "menu/F1/F3/F1" for the command "engage bandits".

Just made a (nearly) 2-hours-mission without freezes. Because we have temperatures of 33^C in Germany I tested the GPU-temp. and noticed that I got peaks of 70°C on gpu and memory. Than switched the cooler fans to max and got good results. Probably this is the reason. But commands furthermore stresses the sim: I always noticed that the Fraps-fps-marker goes to red after any command I give!!!
