I have just purchased and installed FC for the first time. The FC I purchased was a boxed version. I installed LOMAC then FC. During the Starforce system interrogation my system shuts down, on the reboot my system will not reboot stating recent software caused problem. I have reboot to last known good config, then I receive the "Starforce driver unsigned" box. How can I use my legally purchased software!!!!!!!

What are the settings you are using? Deadzone? Curve? Pounds of force? I too felt like the CH was very toy like compared to the Cougar, but I fly the Black Shark better with it. If I try your settings maybe Ill like the Cougar.

Hey Flim, I too have an FSSB Cougar and a CH Suite. As much as I wanted the Cougar to win, I fly much much better with the CH Gear. I have tried 6 - 21 LBS of force and various curves/dead zones. I just can't hover that well with the Cougar. What setting are you using for your Kitty? I still think the Cougar is better for jets!

Sometimes the missles are on sometimes they are not. Let's not make them too good, it's nice to come home and land sometimes!

Any details on the manual? There used to be a sticky with manual details but I can't find it. Thanks

Sorry Viper, you must have posted as I was and I missed your reply. I am running an Nvidia card (8800 GTX) and had made no changes to anything prior to the lanucher failing. Thanks again for replying

Now I'm getting a DOS like prompt with this quote: Error getting table field 'command' PANIC: unprotected error in call to Lua API (attempt to index a nil value) This is strange. Why would it work then stop without any changes???

Anyone know what this is? I have only been able to fly BS a few times and now this. The Multiplayer launcher works but not the single. Any ideas. I would reinstall but doesn't that mess up my available activations?

Got it figured out. I read somewhere that the stick commands should be read LCtrl-U as opposed to how it is on the HOTAS Sheet (U-LCtrl). It was either that or the fact that I rewrote my Macro statements as "statement text" versus "key text". The TrackIR thing I don't know. I checked then rechecked the TrueView box several times. The blue light on the TrackIR flickers blue during loading then goes out, then comes on steady. It wasn't on before. How do you recenter TrackIR in this thing since every button is used in the game?? Thanks for the reply. Yes I downloaded the TMM and TMJ to the stick, and tested in the Foxy Key Tester. All worked there. Nothing in the game. I tried to mess with the BS options on the buttons but all that shows is ALT when a button is pushed????? New TrackIR (4.1.36 I think) downloaded today. I wonder if there is something in BS options that is wrong? Can't find anything in the manual though.

I have the axis' programmed in the BS Controls Options but can not get my Foxy programmed buttons to work. I have also searched and saw where others have had problems with TrackIR. It works outside of the Sim, but in the sim nothing. The Absolute views are in the Axis/TrackIR columnin the BS Options area. What am I missing? Thanks

Just wondering how the FSSB Cougar is handling with BS. I am considering either the FSSB or NXT mod for my Cougar. Any thoughts would be aqppreciated. Thanks!
