That would be fine by me. One switch position more on my collective to bind to something else. If this switch acted in reality like ingame I can easily see why Boeing got rid of that function in our Apache model. It's way to easy to mess up your boresighting in flight if you accidentally press that switch.

On page 66 of the early access manual it say: Boresight/Polarity. • PLRT. Toggles FLIR image polarity (black-hot or white-hot). • B/S. No function. But the B/S key actually resets the boresighting if the action Boresight/Polarity Switch - B/S is bound in the control options and pressed when in the cockpit. It acts like pressing Cursor Enter - Depress when in the acutal boresighting mode, but without the prequsite of being on the weapon page

I've encountered a recent issues with the flight model yesterday. We were doing some Helo training in Beslan and all of our KA-50 were experiencing rotor strikes well within the flight envelope. I would fall out of the sky when turning only slightly left when flying 250 km/h at 500 meters. At the current air temp (10°C) I should have been able to maneuver up to 300 km/h (at least according to the plaque on the left side of the cockpit). GTAG_Helo_Training_13-20201020-194747.trk

@c0FF I managed to recover most of the deleted files from my hard drive (Except my FL Studio projects *sigh*). Which log files would you require to further analyse the issue? Again let me assure you, that I had DCS regularly installed in a folder on my N: drive, not in the root directory and that I didn't modify any config files.

Just to clear something up. I did not modify the autoupdate_settings.cfg. I just had DCS in N:\DCS World OpenBeta and did nothing to the any install related configs. The updater just deleted all files in the N:\ root all by itself.

It seems to me something went wrong with the Updater upate from 10th of July. After running the repair and accepting to delete all leftover files, the updater parsed the whole hard drive and deleted everything, including the parallel install of the stable version and other folders not even associated with DCS.

It also seemed in Mav's stream that the blue ground units were happy to engage, but the reds soldiers didn't open fire. Was there a mix up in the ROE or was this just the usual DCS hickup?
