I dont think you can set ToT on "B" waypoints, only for target waypoints, I think you actually set your desired Mach speed as described in the manual page 184, i.e Mach 1.22 instead of time 12:20:00 I´ve been experimenting with the ToT and ingress speeds, but with poor results: what I´m trying to do is set up me and my teammate to strike a target area at the exact same time and at combat speed but from two different direction using the ToT function: On runway or ramp: Waypoint 5 is my target and have set as such: TAKT/IN, input 9, press B5. Set Time on Target: TID/IN, input eg 12:15:30, press B5 Set Mach speed for waypoint: TID/IN, press 085 (for Mach 0.85) and press waypoint(s) other than target waypoint. Set TID/UT and cycle through the waypoints to verify that the ToT and Mach values are set. After take-off, loiter until time deviation is near zero Yet regardless which waypoint(s) has the Mach speed set, the aircraft wants to fly at around Mach 0.4 to keep the airspeed deviation indicator and time table deviation at zero, I do arrive at target at exactly correct time but at an awfully slow speed though. what am I doing wrong? By the way, the manual states that negative time deviation is indicated with a "-"sign but is actually indicated with a "9". The manual also states that to display the current time, ToT time and set Mach values, you have to set to TID/OUT and press and hold the desired waypoint button, but you do not need to hold, to return to time deviation table you have to cycle the IN/UT switch.

Canard controls The trailing edge control surface on the canard works as a flap and is directly connected to the landing gear system. Maneuvering of the canard flap is not possible by the pilot exept via the landing gear handle. If memory serves me right, you can "trim" the flap angle on the ground by the mechanincs and is adjusted to the current weapons load.

Yes, the LEF is "Leading Edge Flaps" or "slats" The internal fuel capacity is "more than 3000 litres", depends on who you ask. Infact you can "overfill" the tanks and squeese in a little bit more fuel than stated. The external fueltanks takes 1100 litres each

The canards CAN move independently, but SAAB has chosen not to use them to aid roll do to the attripute of stress on the airframe, so they move in unison. The APU will shutdown 12 seconds after take-off and restart at WoW main landing gear (Weight on Wheel, not World of Warcraft). As previusly said, the elevons basicly work in unison, exept in high speed and high wing loading where the outer elevons will deflect more, this is to spread the stress better on the wing. The leading edges is mechically connected and will deflect basicly with the aircraft alfa.

I downloadet and flew all the missions and noticed that all vehicles was set at 90 degrees from where you approached, you should set two vehicles of the same type side by side with the second vehicle against you so you can compare and learn how they look from different directions. God work anyway, those artillery units was difficult to identify.

I ususally use the Shkval to performe a nav fix pos, to do that you have to lock a fix point with your shkval, like a bridge or simililar, your laser must be on standby and ranging the target. when the Shkval is set you choose your fix point in your PVI 800 panel, press OP and then the number of the fix point, when the Shkval and the PVI 800 is set, hit your uncage button and you should get a "KOPP" message on the HUD, when the message disapears the correction is complete. The ekran message should disapear now (for a while anyway). I've never used the "fly over" method, but it seems rather straight forward. You can read more in the flight manual, section 6-26

Acctually, the canards will only tip forwards (70 degrees as most) when the nose wheel touch the ground and the pilot applies wheel brakes quite furmly, also all controll surfaces will move to a optimal position for deacceleration and loose of lift, the thrust setting has no affect on FCS in this case. If the nose wheel lifts from the ground or the pilot releases the brakes, the FCS will automaticly reset to normal flight mode. BTW, Love your model, hope to see it fly in my computer soon.
