Hi Havok. Would please post a simple step by step installation. I have tried to set this up but I do not see the controllers. I got DCLeap working but I just can't figure out where I'm going wrong with this.

Wonderful, wonderful tool. I love actually giving a salute before launch. I love reaching for the gear lever and flaps switch with my own hands. No mouse. No controller!
This is great. Please keep up the great work.

Thank you for the replies. I was hoping it was a lua that I was unaware of.

Is there a way to remove the default VR center, and zoom look bindings from the controller assignments?
The touchpads have these assignments by default.
- Touchpad Up left = VR Center
- Touchpad Down left = Pause/menu
- Touchpad Down right = Zoom
Can this be unassigned? :joystick:
- Touchpad Up left = VR Center

Yes I noticed that with the F-16, to my delight it is working on the open beta version, however it seems you have to bind a button to move the throttle to idle, then you should have full control, in future I would hope you can just push the throttle to idle
What button did you bind? I could not find a "finger-lift" type binding before.

The F-18 is fully controllable with VR controllers. That is all I use. No mouse and no HOTAS. The F-16's throttle does not work with the controllers. DCS said they will implement it though.

The F-18 and the two included free planes work for sure.
My F-16 works except I cannot grab the throttle. No idea why.

Hi. I cannot move the throttle in the F-16 using my VR wands (Reverb, O+ or Vive).
They work fine with the F-18. And I can control everything else in the F-16, except the throttle.
I can't even grab it. Is/was there a bug that I missed? Anyone else having this issue.
Any help will be appreciated. :joystick:
Update: I have learned that the VR throttle is not implemented yet.

I figured out today that the Warthog HOTAS throttle levers in the off detent considers that a button. I mapped my Tomcat throttle so I don't have to "grab" it with my Rift S controller but as soon as I move the lever forward, it registers that and moves the throttle in the plane to idle. I didn't get around to trying it, but I'm hoping the Viper registers the same. Right now I have it mapped to a switch but I'd like to remap it to the off detent of the lever itself.

Thanks for the workaround tip. I will try it.

Can the F-16's throttle be "grabbed"/used with VR controllers? I can grab the flight stick but not the Throttle.
It there a button similar to finger-lifts that must be engaged before the throttle will move from off to idle or move at all?
Thanks for your help.:joystick:

Not going too well though is it? I fly the A10c in VR with TM warthog HOTAS. No issues, just like the real thing.
What pilots can't see their controls in the real thing? Just like you can't see you HOTAS?
Actually, if you read my question here. Everything works fine in the other modules. There is a bug or a RTFM problem with the F-16 throttle.
I won't ever go back to a HOTAS, but this is not a debate. I am just asking for help from anyone who may have resolved the issue I'm having.

In the DCS controls setup, where you can select the control sets for the different planes, select "UI Layer" and bind a keyboard shortcut or joystick button to the "Recenter VR Headset" feature (see this post with a video of what I mean). Then each time when ready in DCS after strapping on your headset, you press this keyboard shortcut to get the head position in the VR space right.
I have the same issue when I start DCS with my headset lying on the seat in my simpit before I get ready.
Strangely, my WMR controllers already have VR center mapped to the left touchpad up and Pause Menu is left touchpad down. By default these are assigned and I cannot figure out how to change it.
These are not settings in the simulator controls. I deleted every setting and it didn't help.
There has to be a config file somewhere that I need to edit.

I will ask this in the Bugs forum. I thought I was missing something. Like the finger-lifts in the F-18.
But this may be a legitimate bug.

Actually boxed my HOTAS up and stored them in the closet. No need to fumble around with those when I interact directly with my controllers. :smilewink:

I love the cockpit interaction! My Saitek HOTAS is now boxed and in the closet. When X-Plane did this in 2017, I stored my yoke and never looked back.
Thank you DCS! Now I can do everything hands on. No programming buttons, profiles, reaching blinding for a mouse.
Great immersion. I grab the handle bars at launch :)

You can have a clickable cockpit with the HTC Vive.
Google Virtual Button Box.

Is there a fix I can do to the lua to get the F-14 catapult capable again?
VAICOM PRO plugin for VoiceAttack

You must setup a Push-To-Talk (PTT) button. And, you need to select the correct radio before you transmit. I use simple communications, so I set VoiceAttack to always listen. I have a button mapped to 2. Which is the radio I set in the Viacom control panel. So, when I press the button it transmits on radio 2 and I get a response. Combined with DCLeap for hand & finger recognition, I get totally immersed.
