    I have some questions regarding the grip. I read that the 4-way hats also have a push function, is this realistic according to a real F/A-18 grip? Or can i designate the "push" to VR-Zoom? If not where else I could map VR-Zoom?

    The Pimax 5k is a good product but you'll not get to use its FOV with a 1080.

     

     

    I was going to use the "middle" FOV Setting, that would work, right?

     

     

    So I have watched many videos about this topic and got the conclusion to buy the pimax 5k xr.

    Best VR-Google out there?

    Currently I have an Oculus Rift, and its resolution is decent but could be better.

    So my Question is, what is the best VR-Google out there to have? Price is irrelevant. But it should be operateable with a Geforce Gtx 1080 Ti.

    Desk mount size L with throttle?

    I have maybe a stupid question, but i want to go sure on this.

     

     

    Is the Virpil desk mount size L so far adjustable that you can mount a throttle on it? Or do you have to buy the small desk mount?

     

     

    And another question, do you have to set the afterburner detent on the throttle manualy or is the default setting good enough? You know what I mean? If the detend is in the right place.

    TDC Controller slightly left drag

    Hello

     

     

    I encountered a bug, and don't think it applys to my controll settings.

     

     

    On the Radar Page, and on the SA Page the TDC Controller, when selected (diamond top right) has a slightly left drag when i'm not doing anything, not touching the controller. It's really annoying to correct this all 3-4 secs.

     

     

     

    Anybody else gets this?

     

     

    In the axis calibration in the controlls menu, the axis is centered, so either I have a Bug in my HOTAS Software (don't know how to center the Button there) or it's in the game.

    Do I need two of these, for the throttle also? (throttle requires an adapter plate I read), sry maybe a dumb question, but I want to go sure before buying...

    Edit: @Exikutioner why you need a spacer? is the grip to short? Thank you!

     

     

    Edit 2: So I've read that the spacer increases precision and smoother movement. But which lengh is the right one? What's the difference between them? Sry for so much questions... But I'm not going to order "blind" for that cost.

    The desk mount places the HOTAS the proper way, and you can mount the joy either centered between your legs, or by your right side F-16 style.

    There are quite adjustable on height.

     

     

    There is a clamp you manually turn so the table of your desk is braced, holding the "desk mount + hotas" system.

     

    No idea about stick extension, I don´t have one.

     

     

     

     

    This sounds nice. Can you help me choose the right product? I don't know what base and mounting system.

     

     

    Any help would be very appreciated!

    I'm curious as to why you want the lefty version.

     

    That's really only useful if you right hand stick from before.

     

     

    Sorry my fault, copied the false name, of course i will order the right hand version.

     

     

    @aaron886 So you think they fix it in coming months? Or maybe longer?

    I'm thinking to buy a Virpil HOTAS, Grip VPC MongoosT-50LH BE, Base is the VPC WarBRD, and the VPC MongoosT-50 Throttle.

     

    I fly exclousively the F/A-18. So my question is, does this hotas fit for the F/A-18? Are there enough buttons for every important keybinding?

     

    I'm a bit concerned, if it has enough 4-way buttons on top of the grip and if there's a 4-way button on the side. In chucks guide you need 3 of them at the top, one for trimming, one for weapon select, and one for TDC press/depress and zooming in. On the side of the grip you need also a 4-way button for sensor select.

     

    My other concern is, if the throttle has a resistance before going to afterburner? That woud be nice.

    Somebody else got problems to see the HMD in front of bright background (clouds for example)? I've turned the brightness of the HMD at max, and neary see nothing... Is this normal?

    SA Page not functional?

    Hello

     

     

    I have noticed today, that the SA Page on the DDI is not longer a placeholder. But i get no display of friendly/enemy aircraft. The TDC is also not moving around, like on the radar. So i assume it's not fully released yet?

     

     

    And when it's released, cannot wait to learn what all those buttons will do :).
