You just solved a problem I've had for a couple of months, I was having switches show up as buttons at the same time. This was because of the calibration profile in Windows. Once I deleted it, problem solved! Thank you!
-
I only asked about whether you got a response because Mikhail seems to ignore my every attempt to get some assistance. Glad to hear he's still around.
-
All I know is that in the Virpil software all the buttons are working as they should but not in Windows and DCS.
-
Swap the pots? joy.cpl? I am but a humble stick and throttle jockey, I know not of what you speak
-
DId you get any response? I had no issue with the axis, it's a hardware rather than a software issue. The buttons are a software issue because they work in the virpil software but not it windows/dcs.

@K-51 Hi there Mikhail, I bought the collective back when you first started selling them. I am having a weird bug that I could do with some help with. I installed the new firmware according to your instructions earlier in this thread and in the Virpil software all my buttons are working as they should, however, in Windows and DCS the top right switch and top right button crossover, with the button registering as the switch; and the lower right button doesn't register at all. Can you help? I should also mention that the twist grip throttle stopped working a long time ago, as well as the wheel on the right sight of the collective switch panel. If there's a way to get either of these working again, that would be awesome! Edit: I will add that in the Virpil software it says that the collective has 24 buttons when it actually has 17. In the button display on the right it actually has registered 27 buttons?!

Hi Draconus, as I've mentioned in my PM, deleting the bindings and then restarting DCS removed the red exclamation marks. When I rebound I saw that, unlike the old bindings (which were button numbers), the new bindings were HAT switch directions. My control profile was very old and Heatblur must have updated their controls profiles and my old bindings were in conflict. Thank you for your help!

Red exclamation marks on Throttle and Rudder
Phil73805 replied to Spandex's topic in Bugs and Problems
I’m having the same issue with wing sweep bindings on the F14 and I also have no conflicts! Is the OP still having this issue? -
I did hover the mouse over the red exclamation mark and no conflict was showing.

I haven't flow the F-14 in a while. When I tried I found that the wing sweep wasn't working. When I checked the bindings I came across what you see in the picture. No attempt to bind other controls has worked, neither has reloading the control profile or repairing DCS. The chat functions also have those red symbols. It's only on the F-14. None of the other aircraft modules have this issue and I have checked the throttle (Thrustmaster Warthog) in Windows and it's working fine.

I have a Virpil Collective. When I enter a hot started Hind in Multiplayer the Collective immediately goes to full pitch with obvious results. I have also notice when cold starting that this happens as well. As soon as the collective and cyclic are unlocked during the startup procedure, the collective goes straight to full. As soon as I touch the collective and make even the smallest input it syncs correctly and the problem ceases. (track files are too big to attach)

I've bought a new mouse and it works everywhere else, but in DCS it jumps. I'll move the mouse to a button or switch in the cockpit and it will jump vertically or horizontally by around 15 to 20cm. Always in a straight line, vertically or horizontally. To be clear, this ONLY happens in DCS.

Hi all, I usually fly the full fidelity modules but considering that most of the FC3 modules have a professional flight model it allows me the pleasure of getting to know how they fly and fight. With that in mind, I started flying the SU-33 and while she has some quirks that I can't find any information about, the dearth of information regarding carrier landings makes an already challenging task even more difficult. Having said all that, I started this thread in the hopes that those of you who fly the SU-33 regularly from the deck of the Kuznetzov would be kind enough to share the procedures that you have found to work consistently. Please include speeds and altitudes at the various stages of the approach. I am currently working on CASE I approaches...considering the instruments, I can't imagine a CASE III. Thank you

I think the subject line says it all. When flying the Huey in multiplayer other Hueys' rotors cone up 60 or more degrees.
