  1. been doing all my testing in f18/instant/freeflight, there's a handful of clouds but not many, and it's happening at the main menu and I haven't noticed any weather in the hangar
  2. Nominally I'm running PD 1.0 and 140% in steamvr, and the workload seems reasonable, 60-70% GPU load and ~80% on one core CPU, and I've tried running 1.0/100% with the same results. I can even run 1.0/200% and my frame timing is ~13ms or so but still with the purple lines. The fact that it's happening at the main menu as well with basically zero load makes me think it's unrelated to graphics settings.
  3. no, I mean while DCS is unfocused, the purple lines in the frame timing graph disappear. When tabbing back in, they're there again.
  4. 1080ti, 6700k, 32g ram, 850pro sata ssd, Vive Pro HMD I'm getting these purple lines in the SteamVR frame timing graph that correspond to little stutters that are most obvious when turning my head. My frame timing is fairly good, from 10.5ms to 12ms looking at cities, but these spikes are always there. First shot is flying, looking at reasonably uncluttered area What's weird is, they're always there, even in the menu, but they go away if I alt-tab out of DCS. Second shot is in the main menu, 4.5ms frame times I've unplugged everything USB, I've killed background tasks with wild abandon, I've updated gpu drivers... about the only thing I can think to do is flatten windows and start over, and I'm trying to put that option off as long as possible. Any suggestions?
  5. same, I'm eastern time but a late nighter, fly F18, F5, and P51D
  6. Hi folks, I've been playing DCS in VR about a week, have 110 hours in, but I've got close to 2000 hours in Actual Reality Flight Realizers, so my spoolup has been fairly quick. Lots of time spent tweaking hotas mappings and learning aircraft systems :book: I'm messing with capturing video and making some content, check it out :D
  7. Wow! great work... I especially like the wipe at 1:39
