Depends on your budget. Crosswinds come at $300 USD. VKB about $250 USD. The Thrustmaster TPR is a ridiculous $700. Because not everyone who sims is a retired pensioner I would also recommend the Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals. Cheapest on the market ($70 USD) and for the price you pay, they outclass everything else in the same range. 13.5" by 12" (LxW). Just be aware they are very narrow (which might help you space wise) so if you place your feet directly centered to each pedal you might end up crushing your balls every now and then. The workaround is simple though. Great option if you're on a budget, otherwise I haven't heard anything bad about crosswinds, albeit I can't comment on them personally.

Hey Knock-Knock, I've been playing around with the various waypoint functions and I'm noticing some inaccuracies with the "M3" and "ATTACK" waypoints usually being off course from the target despite placing the marker directly over the target. Are you experiencing the same issues or am I doing something wrong? This can also happen with auto-generated waypoints. Cheers.

Happy with the activity in here! I'm very much so down for flying more training focused missions on a server with a connected discord. 2pm to 2am GMT only works for me during the weekends for the most part, but it's always good to have options. I'll join your discord too Harley.

Just throwing my 2 cents. You should buy the plane you are most passionate about. If you're a navy guy, go with the F18. Wait for a possible sale if you have to, and practice with the Su-25T in the meantime. There are a few beginner friendly, fully clickable modules in DCS; namely the trainers, and the F5. It does sound like you're more interested in the newer aircraft though. The F18 is by far the best bang for your money... EVENTUALLY. It will provide you with the most versatile gameplay over any other module at the moment. It's also incredibly easy to fly, even a newborn baby still covered in placenta can fly the F18. It's extremely forgiving and the systems are intuitive. The A10C, less so, and the Harrier is probably the worst option for any beginner. In the end, my recommendation comes down to where your passion is at.

Hey everyone, been itching to fly more online but unfortunately the only two people in my friend circle that play DCS world aren't particularly that active in the sim. Looking for a group/squadron with a more casual/PVE focus as I'm still new to the online side of DCS. Would love to get more hardcore into the sim but I still need those baby steps. I'm not very competitive so tend to stay away from PVP. I fly the M2000C, Viggen and I'm slowly learning the Harrier. I also own combined arms and FC (although I have zero interest in the F15 or A10). I've also pre-ordered the F14. I'm on Mountain Time (UTC−07:00). Cheers.
