Fixed the issue by moving dcs from my hdd to my sdd. I think the game crashes because the loading part is too long.

I had the same issue but I managed to join a server full of f14 by setting terrain quality to low. Hopefully it will work for you too

Since the f14 update I can't play on servers anymore, my game keeps freezing as soon as I click the fly button on the briefing screen and after a few minutes the screen turns black and nothing happens. The only way to close the game is alt+f4 Any help would be appreciated Thank you
