Tried the "final" solution: format c:, new fresh windows XP instalation, newest nvidia driver and nothing else. BS initial menu now appears, my 8800 GTX works! I'll try to find out when during the installation of the other applications, drivers, etc, BS will run no more again..

I tried again: I confirm that no screenshot are produced. I tried also the following: I hit the print screen button with the multiplayer launcher (this one works and has always worked): in this case screenshots of the interface are put in the Screen Shots folder. I'd like a developers' clue very much..

@fraction: launched via command line from "C:\Programmi\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50" folder and, as you said, no more lua error. But as usual appeared the white box and after 2 or 3 seconds the Lancher.exe error. @Zakk: I couldn't replicate the behaviour seen on your system: I clicked a lot in the white box, but nothing new happened. PrtScn button has no effect either.

I forgot to mention: I run windows XP professional. Tried some other experiments: - BS disinstall, PC restart, registry cleaning, PC restart, BS install => Same result: white screen and error message - Launched via command line: "C:\Programmi\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin\stable\Launcher.exe" (same as the desktop link, but without "--console"). I obtained the following error: "cannot open.\BlackShark\BlackShark.lua : No such file or directory". No white screen or other messages. I checked and BlackShark.lua is present in C:\Programmi\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\BlackShark directory. I red many thread relevant to Launcher problems, I hope the developers are working on this issue for a fix in the next patch..

Launcher.exe erro with nvidia 8800GTX I have exactly the same problem with my 8800GTX, I get "Launcher.exe encountered an error" message I add that: - music plays while the white screen and message error are displayed - multiplayer menu starts correctly (I activated the sim from multiplayer exe) - disinstalled and reinstalled BS 3 times - disinstalled and reistalled Nvidia video drivers twice (last time cleaned also with Driver Sweeper) - tried with different screen resolutions - message error details are: AppName launcher.exe ModVer 5.1.2600.2180 AppVer 0.0.0.0 Offset 0006a21e ModName opengl32.dll No way, BS doesn't start ..and I have no "backup" card :-(
