Thanks Panzer but i did that (at least I feel i did that, twice) what data in backup file needs to be deleted prior to re-install? i removed aircraftNames.lua....... do i need the 1.0.1 hot fix after vanilla install? or should i delete the whole 'Ka 50 Backup Folder' I can run multi player but not access Options in SP....thanks Panzer edit...UAC disable, so far so good

Hey all, getting the same problem with single player (running vista 64). A bit confused by others work-around? I did a complete un-install and a fresh install and then 1.0.2 over it and same problem Any help (layman's terms please) is greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Hi guys, have not used my x52pro for sometime now and I just got FC2, however for the life of me I cant seem to get any of these (and others i found) profiles to load. I realize that it is some dumb oversight on my part nut can someone please point me in the right direction :) thanks

Running vista 64 Gateway FX Intel i7 Crossfire ATi 4850 9G DDR3 Razer Keyboard/Mouse (when i disable the keyboard driver the game goes to blue screen) N52te Saitek x52-pro (nut-shell over view) Dont understand why the game runs fine untill I try to play multi, been trying to find where I hid my spare keyboard to see if that will be a quick fix! Any help, or more info?

whenever I enter the aircraft during a multiplayer mission my keyboard becomes unresponsive, I can use it to chat before selecting the aircraft but once inside nothing, not even ESC??? any ideas, am I overlooking something? Thanks

agreed, over time I am sure everything will be addressed, ( I hope) I have my first Trackir coming tomorrow and I can only hope its a simple matter of plug-n-play

since I am really a novice when it comes to this, here goes. After going into the system error report and tracking down the latest system recover I found the corresponding error code. After some quick research ( a la Google) it seemed the code was referring to a keyboard driver error in conflict with vista. I use a Razer Keyboard that I purchased while I was still using XP, but once I started with vista I was having BIOS issues with both the mouse and keyboard (same manuf.) and needed to download some vista fixes. Those new drivers would run a new program under system services, and yesterday I turned off more services under Task Mgr. than normal and I assume this is what made my configuration unstable so when I rebooted the system I left those services related to my peripherals running, I have not had a crash since!!!! However I wont be surprised to be back after I write this with an "ooops" :) By the way all the posts with fixes for the X52 Pro have mine up and running perfectly!!! Thanks everyone!!

I found the problem :0

While loading a mission computer went to blue screen "handle" error.? Loaded the game back up after system restart and 1min after loading same thing? Opened my temp folder and did not find any current crash.files for today?? I see some in my system msg. through ATI CCC but none in KA50 Temp. I tried to attach an older file but was unable? I am running vista 64, is there somewhere else I should be looking? (I did click compatability under the browser)

all good now, recognizes new input, just no read-out on MFD ( i can live with that for now)

Agreed, after deleting said file, problems have been fixed however I am having trouble editing X52 profile and then having the game recognize the new commands

I will delete that file and try it out, thanks

Update: Fixed issue by running the game in xp sp2 mode!!!!!

nice for you!!! :) Must be a vista thing? everything worked fine with CH Throttle and Sidewinder until I turned the game off, when I went to keybinding page (even with the Saitek) i get the error mssg about the Shvkal slew, but nothing is bound? I load a profile into the X52 FCS and the MFD recognizes it, but only 3-4 controls work in game!!!! very frustrating cause I have been waiting for this game, ohh well not sure if i should just get a refund

Hey Ram. I had that same problem as well, the fix posted here fixed it for me. are u running vista? is your game recognizing your key-bindings?

Sorry to chime in late :) to make a long story short I picked up X52 pro yesterday and am having same problem where MFD displays key "action" game does not recognize them, except for a handful ie: cyclic, pitch, ect. Has anyone found a workaround yet !!! Running Windows Vista 64bit Again sorry for the parrot act! Also since I started using the pro whenever I crash or try to exit the session the game stops responding and I have to close it down in task mgr. and then game returns to the main page

UPDATE: Its telling me the invalid key bindings are to a device that isnt even connected? Is there a way to load the default key layout (other than highlighting each line and clicking default) when I open "load profile as" and click default then try to exit I get the same error mssg.?

Hello all! Been waiting for this game for a long time, so happy it is here!! (Black Shark) Spent greater part of yesterday configuring my key-bindings, I am using a Sidewinder stick, and CH Throttle, after a long period of trial and error I got to a place that I liked. I started the game up today and went into the control mgr. to make and adjustment, and when i went to save I keep getting an error mssg regarding bindings to the Shivkal Slew? There are no red lines under the key bindings, I have deleted all key bindings, and removed a third device I had connected, still i cant exit the key-binding screen if i make any changes! I hit cancel and flew a quick action menu, and now most of my key-bindings have changed? and i cannot re-bind them!!!! Help!!! Do I need to use a differnt control setup? Saitek? Thanks
