    Mission's Upgrade:

    - Red EWR at Bandar-e-Jask Airbase is now protected by the SA-2 SAM battery.

    - F-16CM's unable to carry 6 x AGM-65H missiles (2 only) - Fixed.

    - Sound file for the B-1 comms was too loud (Blue players were startled) - Fixed.

    - Destroying the western taxiway at Qeshm Island Airasbe doesn't trigger any flags - Fixed.

    - Added more fuel tanks for the F-16CM's.

    - Added the following to the Objectives' Overview:

         "Note:
Feel free to attack anything else as you see fit, but ONLY after finishing the aforementioned objectives.
    "

    - Added CBU-105 bombs (enabled for F-16CM's only).

Did you add the fuel tanks, KH-29s and more dumb A2G ordnance for the frogies as requested ?

  2. One observation I would like to make about the mission is that due to the state of the SC Kuznetsov, Su-33 pilots really struggle to line up with the wheel chocks for launch. This is because they are directly beneath us and the fact we have no deck crew what so ever, and if you overshoot your line up by a fraction on a meter the wheel chocks when they are raised will launch you aircraft into the air and smack you back down on the deck unceremoniously smashing your under carriage on the deck. Likewise happens if you undershoot your line up as the JBD will launch you into the air as well. Not to mention the aircraft "crashing" onto the deck again causes damage to the carrier .

To cut a long story short, is it possible to give the Su-33 pilots external camera views to aid in lining up for launches ?

I've spent hours working like a dog trying to stop the waves of fighters, helicoptors, and BMP's.

Speaking as a ground pounder that plays on red, you put up one hell of a fight man ! Likewise it can get pretty sweaty trying to hit the objectives knowing that you're online.

I think I can speak for most of red team about the whole EWR debate. It wasn't that we discourage SEAD in any way, SEAD is an integral part of aerial warfare it was more that the person would actively try destroy the EWRs with no fear of the consequences. For example there is now lives system (not saying there should be). You get were I'm coming form there is no fear of death or losing an airframe. Not to mention an actual 70's era f-5 wouldn't have the amazing RWR it has ingame while we only have the SPO-10 which is adequate at best. Anyways glad it has been resolved in a civil manner.

    Happy hunting,

  4. Was just wonder since the map is set in modern Syria/Lebanon, will we ever see places like UNIFIL HQ and Heliport modelled around Naqoura near the "Blue line"

    Many thanks.
