  1. Hi, all... I'll try to make it quick. I had DCS installed on Xp x64 and later Vista x64 with no problems. Since upgrading to Win7 x64, I am unable to finish the deployment campaign mission #12 "CODA". It crashes as soon as I engage a target. I do not see an explosion or the destroyed vehicle model, only light from the fire. The game immediately becomes choppy, and the countdown to CTD is on. Usually it happens within 30 seconds. I've tried all graphics settings, and nothing helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have DCS installed in C:/Games and use DCSMax. UAC is off, and I run DCS.exe as administrator. 2. This bothered me for the longest time... Don't re-center, as you'll lose your target half the time. Just do this- rather than fight it, try working with it, in the direction it's moving. IE, if it starts scanning left, hit the left directional input and it will stop. It's counterintuitive, which is why it took me so long to figure this out for myself. The command seems to "stick" sometimes and the only way to clear it is to re-input the same command... fighting it doesn't do anything. It's kind of annoying, but you'll stop noticing it and do it automatically eventually. I generally only have to do it once per mission anyway... PS- are you using a Saitek?
  3. Is there a way to remove the horizontal plane of the trees around urban areas? They are shaded differently from the rest of the tree and pop out too much. At medium range, they also have a distracting flicker and I have to turn up my AF pretty high to get rid of the effect. I'm never looking directly down, so don't really benefit from them being there anyway... Oh, yeah- this is my first post, so have to say: Great job on DCS! Haven't had this much fun since DI's Apache... :)
