  1. Hi,

I installed the program and set up a little test profile to just raise and lower the landing gear of the F18 Hornet. Using the TM Warthog. Mapped the keypress for the lg to one of my mouse buttons. Short press/Long press. Also set up the throttle flap switch to move between auto/half/full flaps.

Using the TM keyevent tool I can see the proper keycodes being generated when the controls are moved...but the key commands never seem to get to Dcsworld...nothing happens. Using voice attack with the same key sequences the flaps and gear work fine so the key sequences are correct. Any advice on what I should check next?

    Thankyou, tim

that s what I said in the post above! u don t read do u? :))

  2. Indeed :) You've found a bug. thanks for reporting, gonna fix it as soon as I can release new version.

The keystrokes that RS Mapper sends to DCS are not being recognized. I know that they are working because I used them to type in Word so I am confident that keystrokes are going out but for some reason, they are not recognized. Any ideas?

Seems like I am not the only one having this issue

  3. Why you do not use AFC Modes? Fly stable within given parameters, switch on AFC (+ALT Hold).

I am a beginner regarding the module, but i may advice you to read DCS Guide AV-8B N/A HARRIER II by Chuck. Best Tutorial(s) for operation i can find. :)

The AFC doesn t work at any hights and speeds

  4. I tried again with some mavericks. MAYBE i m doin it the wrong way but this is the procedure: activate the tv, lock the ground, activate tpod, search the target, go to the left ddi, select the weapon, press cage, activate IRMV, lock the target, fire. All this while tryin to keep the plane steady while aproaching the target. Not to mention all keys that u have to remember :))

I donno, i like the planes feeling but I don t see how I can use it in a multiplayer mission where the active pause is not an option lol

  5. First of all..if u pull the stick hard the plane goes crazy. This doesn t happen at F18, where u can pull as hard and as long as u like.

About the weapons. Let s take mavericks for example. In F18 u only have to search for the target on the MFD, it auto locks the target and that s it.

In Harrier u have lock the ground first, then search for the target, then press another button to lock it.

In this tutorial it s even more complicated. First u use one screen for tv and then the other for target lock..all this while tryin to keep the plane steady.

  6. Hey guys,

I bought this module not longe ago but I am learning and flying it non stop ever since.

Maybe I m wrong or maybe I m missing something, but it s nothing compared to Fa18c. The wepon systems are very difficult, the auto pilot is almost uselss (since it s working only at certain speeds and heights), it turns super slow, it is unstable AND is full of bugs. The only thing cool I can see is the vertical landing and take off.

Maybe I m doing somethin wrong or I watched the wrong tutorials but..that is what I think.

Question is: how wrong am I? :))

  7. It is sooo frustrating! I see that everyone uses ps3 cam and it works perfect.

I really donno why mine doesn t. I tried every single tracking software and settings, and still the image moves when my head is still..that makes it impossible to flip switches :((

What info do you need! I would really appreciate ur help!

  8. The cockpit lighting is supposed to be addressed at some future patch, so yeah, for the time being there are issues with the SAS buttons lighting up properly. I've found them easier to read in Ricardo's cockpits, which can be found here:

Just a quick heads up though, I don't know if you do any night flying, but it seems like the lighting for the gauges on the front instrument panel aren't working so well. Hope this helps, and hope we get an official ED fix for the Shark cockpit before too long.

thank u so much! But how come all the utube videos have light! It is a very old module, i doubt that they will update it
