I have the exact monitor setup as you but my smaller monitor is on the left. What do I need to change to have ABRIS show up on the left side?

EDIT: I honestly didn't see the other thread on this page asking the same thing... Ok, please don’t attack just yet. Hear me out… I have been using the search function and reading through the forums for about an hour trying to figure out how to setup my second monitor for the ABRIS. The problem I’m having is I just can’t figure out the procedure. If anyone could write me a tutorial or point me to a good tutorial I would be most grateful. I’m running Vista64 with the main 20in monitor at 1680x1050 and second smaller monitor that is 15in at 1024x768. I don’t know if it matters but the smaller monitor is on the left. Also my gfx card is an nvidia. Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Did everything you said with same results. I tested this by starting dcs regularly and the f12 worked as intended. There is some type of conflict when using the affinity tool.

checked it out and its still set to F12 for center view. But when in game it just takes me to airport view...

I downloaded the Black Shark Affinity tool and it works great with framerates but it has caused an odd side effect. When using the affinity tool I can not use the F12 key to recenter trackir. Anyone know other option for centering the trackir in-game, or a fix?

Sorry, I'm running vista 64 and i don't have my cpu specs handy but its an intel quad something or other. and I'll look into this affinity thing. glottis, this utility is the only thing I need to do this affinity thing? and do i have to edit a file to change the water settings? (sorry I'm at work atm)

I have an 8800GT with 4gigs of ram. I have most of the latest games out and I play them all on full setting. I can even run crysis on decent settings. With that said I’m having some serious framrate issues with Black Shark. Even when there is not much on the screen I’m running around 20-25 fps. On mission with lots of vehicles and activity I have dropped all the way down to 2-5 fps. I really don’t think DCS is that graphically intensive to warrant such low framrates. Anyone having the same issues and if so have you found a fix? …future patch maybe? :helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

So even with auto hover mode and tot activated you still should be using trim? I still find myself sinking as well when using auto hover...

Ok, just got my Trackir in today... :D Question; how do you adjust the sensitivity? It feels like the camera is way to sensitive to my movements, a little twitchy even. Second, when I look down at the cyclic area the camera jumps around a little making it hard to flip switches. Is this do to background light or is this a sensitivity issue as well?

Yeah, I went ahead and used it as a shift key and made auto hover mode 1 pinkie + C fire. Still have issues with the Ka-50 (sometimes) spinning out of control after engaging auto hover. Also for some reason even if altitude hold is engaged I still find myself slamming the cyclic forward to avoid smacking into the ground. I seem to slowly lose altitude. But other than these miner annoyances I'm actually having a great deal of fun. :)

Well, as soon as I figured out how to takeoff, find my target and actually kill it ...all without crashing, I was hooked. So today I took the next logical step and purchased the TrackIR 4 Pro. I picked next day air but how long did it take you guys to actually get it in the mail? I read on the site that it can take up to 10 days for the item to ship. :cry:

Thanks for the help guys. I guess I can just do like hyperfighter suggested. EDIT: On a side note. I'm having a really weird problem when assigning keys to the x52 from the bs options. I changed my left hat switch (upper one on the stick) to center camera but it is still centering the SHKVAL like it was still the old setting. I cleared the key before reassigning so I don't know whats going wrong. Any ideas?

Can someone please walk me through the steps for making the Pinkie switch act like a button? I want to use it for activating auto hover on/off

Thanks for the replies. I'm having the same problem with setting the fire button to release weapon, it just refuses to work. I think what I'm really asking is for like an easy to read tutorial explaining the motions for activating, switching, using weapons and how to properly use the shkval and whats the best method for assigning the shkval controls to the x52 among other things. I'm just a noob, a very lost noob.

Can anyone help a noob out with a good x52 profile. I'm having a hell of a time learning how to operate this thing. main problem right now is learning how to use the weapons. maybe a good lesson would do me better.
