Thanks for the info MBot

Darn, that's a pretty serious "nerf". Ok, thanks for the info.

Is the DCS AI better than Flaming Cliffs ?
-
Hmm, I tried Excellent with a Buk site, 4 TEL's and 1 surveillance radar iirc. Again, one missile per volley, waiting for the missile to self-destruct or hit before firing again. Any further suggestions?

Would you pay for another Addon to Lock On ?
BT23 replied to 104th_Crunch's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I would be willing to pay for an increase in core functionality, for sure. For addon aircraft my preferences would be pretty limited. It would have to change game play... maybe a stealth strike aircraft like B-2 and a campaign or mission arc to accompany. I wouldn't be that interested in another ground attack aircraft or fighter though, for example. -
I could be wrong, but it seems to me in my limited experience with FC so far that SAM and Enemy aircraft (and ships?) only fire one missile per target, and wait for a hit or miss before firing another. Is that something I can change? It's not realistic is it?

Resolved, I was using the wrong version of zzzspace's sound mod. :)
-
Hi, Has anyone had an experience of losing engine sound on a particular plane? I have the ZZZZ sound mod installed so this may be related to that - I don't know. But the other planes work fine. I checked the sound\effects directory and the A10 sounds (all of them) are there and working fine. Checked sound.cfg and that file also appears to be in order. Is this familiar to anyone and is there a fix?

What do they call fast air in with in Afghanistan?
BT23 replied to BT23's topic in Military and Aviation
So say I wanted to create a mission where the player had to loiter over a specific location in order to "qualify" for being present as air support fro ground troops. How long would be reasonable to require the player to circle the target area before they count as prsent, assuming no laser designators? I'm especially thinking of countries that don't have that capability on hand in any quantity, nor expensive recon pods with high res IR equipment. I mean, how did the Russians get Su-27's on target in Georgia? -

Once they get there though, how long to identify the target that the FAC is describing? Roughly? Also any idea what altitude they do this from? (Min/Max is fine.) -

Regarding FACs, do the jets have to loiter around the target area for a while at least first? If I was going to simulate doing CAS with an FAC (and NO laser designator) in a Lock On Mission, would I basically require the player to make an orbit for 5 minutes before the attack? More? Less? Thanks for the info. -
Just watching the Ross Kemp documentary and I can't see the enemy when the camera is pointed at them... how do the F15's and 16's they call know where to drop bombs?

Funny I was just about to post the same problem and saw this at the top of the list. I'm using XP64 Pro and 8800 GTS. Nvidia Driver version 6.14.11.8206

Don't mean to be rude but I've been trying to get this resolved for several days now if you count the emails. Anyone out there? Sorry to be a bother!

Hi, I own a licence for Flaming Cliffs and have 4 activations left. What happens when my activations are used, do I need to repurchase the software? What is the best way to preserve my activations if I need to reformat my drive? ps - emails to support@lockon.ru and support@lockon.co.uk are getting returned to me by the server as undeliverable. D'oh!
