I too was getting stuck on the wires. Finally I was able to get the settings .
This is what I did.
Go to
1) Controls
2) Axis commands
3) Rest your Rudder assignments to default
Now Assign
1) Rudder = Axis Z
2) Left brake = Axis X
3) Right Brake = Axis Y
Under Axis Assignments select
1) Left brake = Axis X and go to Axis tune.
Dead zone =0
Saturation X& Y =100
Curve = Default
There are three options Below
***Slider to be selected***
*** User curve to selected***
On the left you will see 10 boxes numbered from 0 to 100 .
Select the box which reads 50 and change it to 100.( Move the on-screen button to the top of the window)
2) Right Brake = Axis Y (repeat the same as above)
This should prevent you from getting stuck on the wires.
