  1. I am experiencing the same funky AP issues.
  2. I haven't built a gaming PC since 2014 and I am not up to speed at all on current technologies. DCS has been a bit taxing on my system and I would like to improve both my FPS and turn up the quality a bit. Some AA would be nice. This is my current build: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KPRWB9G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 at 4ghz https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DWV3NM6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006EWUO22/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And I have DCS on an SSD. Depending on what my bottlenecks are when it comes to DCS, I was contemplating a few options. If my CPU and DDR3 ram aren't too bad, I could pick up another graphics card of the same type for $150-$200. I could upgrade to a modern graphics card with more VRAM. Or I could keep the case, PSU, drives, and h80i cooler and basically build a new rig. If I were to invest in a new rig, I would probably not want to spend more than $700-$1,000. What are your thoughts and what would you guys recommend?
  3. I rarely ever STT lock anything with an aim54. If I get within 10 miles of anything I just turn cold until I can re-engage. If it is a furball of death, I typically wait until it settles down to where I can get a good idea of whats going on and keep a mental track of who is who. Datalink will provide info on whether a target is friendly. If you can't use that information, only engage at a range that will give jester plenty of time to IFF targets and start your mental track of who is who. You might call me a coward, but I know that with the limitations of jester I am not a good enough pilot to engage things close range and win so most of the time I just turn cold and keep the enemy at BVR ranges.
  4. Seems like at around 20 miles jester either takes forever or just refuses to IFF. I've just had to keep my head down to monitor enemy altitude and change my own to keep jester scanning in the correct ranges since he can not look anywhere other than in the middle. In doing so, I also have to keep a mental track on targets so that when they fall off of the awg-9 and re appear I know which ones are enemy. In a lot of cases, I can't be 100% sure if they are friendly or foe so I am forced to disengage temporarily. IFF and radar altitude scan adjustments are the most frustrating things about jester for me at the moment. Against brainless spamraam players this thing still murders everything but to go up against a competent pilot in MP with jester is no easy task.
  5. Ah, thank you sir. Took some time to read after posting(I think I did that backwards?) and saw this has been reported and hopefully solved awaiting a hotfix.
  6. Where can I view CTD logs? Tried to test some new track IR settings this AM(first time playing since the update) and I consistently CTD about 20 miles out from the targets in the BVR quick mission Persian Gulf.
