I haven't built a gaming PC since 2014 and I am not up to speed at all on current technologies. DCS has been a bit taxing on my system and I would like to improve both my FPS and turn up the quality a bit. Some AA would be nice.
This is my current build:

And I have DCS on an SSD.
Depending on what my bottlenecks are when it comes to DCS, I was contemplating a few options. If my CPU and DDR3 ram aren't too bad, I could pick up another graphics card of the same type for $150-$200. I could upgrade to a modern graphics card with more VRAM. Or I could keep the case, PSU, drives, and h80i cooler and basically build a new rig. If I were to invest in a new rig, I would probably not want to spend more than $700-$1,000.
What are your thoughts and what would you guys recommend?
