  1. Ciao a tutti, ho visto che qualcuno ha postato la bella cartina 1:500K del mondo DCS World; non so se è stata tirata fuori dal simulatore, ma se qualcuno ha bisogno io posso reperire sia le TPC 1:500k le JOG 1:250 le ONC 1:1M e le JNC 1:2M sempre tirate fuori dal simulatore :music_whistling::music_whistling::music_whistling: ;). Se a qualcuno servono fatemi un fischio. Penso le conosciate già le differenze, lo metto per cultura di tutti: JOG (Joint Operational Graphic) - 1:250,000 Scale The Joint Operational Graphic topographic series were produced by the American military for use in combined operations by ground and air forces. These maps are compiled to conform to international US Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) specification MIL-J-89100. Between 84° N and 80° S the Transverse Mercator Projection is used. On the poles (between 84° - 90° N and between 80° - 90° S) the Polar Stereographic Projection is used. The contour interval varies between 50 m and 100 m depending on the particular series (1501 or 1502). The JOG maps are probably the most useful out of the options in the article for overland trips - a 1:250,000 scale is about perfect for driving conditions, particularly if moving map software with a GPS is being used. TPC (Tactical Pilotage Chart) - 1:500,000 Scale These charts are identical to the ONCs below but produced at 1:500,000 scale, and designed for pilots flying less than 500 ft. Charts are numbered in quadrant subdivisions of the ONC compilation in clockwise rotation, i.e. starting at the northwest corner ONC A-1 would be named TPC A-1A, then to the northeast TPC A-1B, southeast TPC A-1C, and finally southwest TPC A-1D. The map Projection is Lambert Conformal Conic based on standard parallels 5 degrees, 20 minutes apart. Miltary standard MIL-T-89101 details the actual parallels and convergence factors. Charts located over the poles (i.e. between 80 and 90 degrees north and south) are produced with Polar Stereographic Projection. ONC (Operational Navigation Chart) - 1:1,000,000 Scale Operational Navigation Charts (ONCs) are topographic maps produced by the American Defence Mapping Agency at 1:1,000,000 scale. They are designed for pilots flying at 2,000 to 25,000 ft, and are used to help identify terrain and cultural objects both visually and by radar. The detail is limited so that a pilot, flying at high speeds, can quickly glance at a chart and recognize a major feature and associate it with the object in view through the cockpit window. They are numbered as ONC A-1, ONC A-2, etc. The projection is the same as the TPC series above. These maps are produced under US military standard MIL-O-89102. JNC (Jet Navigation Chart) - 1:2,000,000 Scale Jet Navigation Charts are designed for radar navigation, high altitude bombing, mission planning, as well as visual navigation. GNC (Global Navigation & Planning Chart) - 1:5,000,000 Scale The US Defence writes that the Global Navigation Chart series were designed to support air operations requiring long range, high speed, high altitude aerospace navigation; specifically, transports, tankers, and long-range bombers. Primary information on the GNC identifies vertical obstructions to flight, aid navigation features, and landing options. Interesting, but clearly at 1:5,000,000 scale, these maps are not suitable for much other than classroom instruction or maybe nice wall hangings - I certaintly wouldn't try to use these to navigate on an expedition! 2. Hi johnv2pt0 Yes the bezel is to small in the nvg_mod_1.0v4b2.zip. If you download and use the ver of Peterp nrgized nvgmod_1.0v3 with Ka-50.zip It's simply perfect!!!! If you have a 1920x1200 monitor i send you my modify file for improve realism like true FOV tube and reduced Noise. Bye Bye
  3. I have the 1:250k JOG AIR of dcs world area of operation; If someone need it give me a call! The JOG AIR it's to much details for jet BBQ mission, the TAD or TPC is the standard for a nav BBQ and for target area usually need the 1:50K! Bye Bye!
Copio tutto in Bazar\world\texture... ma niente. :( Cosa è che sbaglio e cosa mi è sfuggito che non so? Grazie a tutti
  6. hi nrgized can i contact you via skype for some fix!?
  7. Ciao, tonight i cancelled the NVG flight for Bad Weather, but i cacht my NVG at home for some test and well: - the tube have a little little little ZOOM (oh dam! it's the first time that i see this effect after 8 years of NVG flights). - the NOISE in high light condition is impercettibile - for the FOCUS: the cockpit is slight blurry and the hud is on focus because the HUD is Fix to infinity. Very soon i update a photo of my anvs-9 inside the cockpit for showyou the blur of instrument. Bye Bye
  8. Hi everybody. Yesterday night i tested a little bit your great nvg mod. i edit the file and i try to make the nvg more real as possible. just for information (only for get real, i kwon that it's possible disable this features): the nvg tube dont have any distortion at border the anvs-9 dont "zoom" the vision of the pilot and dont have any kind of noise. When you fly in a moon night or a place where are a lots of artificial light, you dont see noise, you see a perfect and sharpen image. The noise of the anvs-9 is visible when you fly in a place very very dark and without the moon light, like over the sea or in the desert. In this case the NVG push at the limits the ANVS-9 Tube to have the max gain, and the pilot see inside the tube a lots of stars (white "active" grain). In the MOD the grain in the tube is like an old photo grain, and this feature is not correct; i think that is more real if possible to disable via editing the NVD file. For information, the real anvs-9 dont have the manual gain like DCS A-10, but it's an autogain device. Watch this ARMA2 video at 1:30, it's exactly like the real NVG. Thx everybody that work to this excellent mod. PS: tonight i perform an NVG flight. I hope to catch a photo for explane you what kind of noise i see you when i fly in extreme low light condition. Bye bye
  9. Hi boys i'm very impressive to see the SUPER EVOLUTION of my basic modification of DCS NVG, i'm very happy. Now I try the new mod as soon as possible and say you my impression for optimize and make the mod more real as possible. Thank you man, thx a lots for your hard works
  10. only one word.....: "UNBELIEVABLE"!!! I love you PeterP! Now DCS Nvgs Lookslike a real ANVS-9! Only one fix if possible! The shader that you have implemented are so strong, because in the real life the anvis 9, when you look an area with high lights, the googles autodim the tube, and adjust his gain, and the pilot can see inside the area! In the Sim this one its not possible, but if you reduce a little bit the shader, it's more real, and reduce the blur effect, your post elaborated photo of cockpit it's to much blur!THX You are great man, thanks for your job and passion for DCS series!!!

    MB339A PAN

 Siete fantastici, e visto che siete così avanti, fate anche il 339 CD con glass cockpit, e lo scenario di tutta l'italia fotorealistico comprensivo dei balcani, TIE'!!! :smilewink: Bravi C@#?o!!!!! Vado gia in preorder!!!

    MB339A PAN

E' veramnte bellissimo!
Ciao a tutti!
  16. Hi bad boys, i'm very impress from your work. the mod now is very realistic, every day a small step, every day to be better. For PeterP, the NVG don't have any kind of sound, only the "click" sound of ON/OFF switch. Now i have to install the mod beta 3 with new layer, i test it and i will say you if it's everythings OK. Bye bye
  17. I'm free... i cameback to the forum :)...
  18. Today, i spent a lot of time in my squadron equipment room with my helmets and the ANVS-9. The result is this one: The modification of PeterP on Blackshark video is impressive, is exactly what i see in my NVGs. This morning i carefully paid attention to NVG FOV. I wore my helmets with the NVG and focalising on what i could and couldn't see. I noticed that i can't see the upper portion at all (due to "baseball cup effect"), which is hidden by my helmet and by the structure of the NVG. On the contrary, I can clearly see everythings on right left and down side of the tube. Imagining the FOV as a clock, i can't see anythings from 11 oclock to 1 oclock. Another interesting aspect is the ovalized sight: if i focus on the inner part of the tubes my sight is a little bit ovalized, on the contrary, if i look far away (as i normally do), i canonly see a unique circular tube, as i previsouly said. Thank you all, expecially PeterP for awesome work with the game modification.
  19. hi PeterP, your modification is very impressive, more more more reallife, for me the image that is more similar to real life is the 2nd one, but i will fly tomorrow night with my anvs-9, and i'll make my attention to the fov of anvis 9. I will make a photo with a camera close to te tube like a human eyes, and i post here tomorrow. Thx for your outstanding work!!
  20. OH shit, give me 30 minutes ahahahahah
  21. give me 5 minutes, and your special anvis 9 will be ready!!!! EDIT: ready for MODMAN :smilewink: focus screen 22_10 fov 40° ANVS9.rar
  22. All ver for all aspect ratio are ready, tested and working great! Someone make the modman file!!!! THX so much!!! The original file it's only for 16:10 Screen res focus screen 4_3 fov 40° ANVS9.rar focus screen 5_4 fov 40° ANVS9.rar focus screen 16_9 fov 40° ANVS9.rar
  23. You are great!!! Clear to!!!
  24. I upload the file here, http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ , but for the moment it's not still there.
  25. this is a simple alpha channel file, like nvg file, a little bit blurred on photoshop, is a little bit different of nvg, because on nvg file work the hdr engine that i don't knows, infact if you remember, in dcs black shark the monocole of sckval can't be used togheter with NVG.
