  1. Hey guys, I've just recently fired up my DCS again after a year or so away. First thing I did was tried some landing practice and noticed the old recovery trainer wasn't working. I updated to the latest 7-30 but can't seem to get anything to trigger and wondering what I might be doing wrong? I fly about 20miles aft of the ship and start my commencing run and it used to trigger when, or about when I would pass the trailing ship. Maybe something has changed on the trigger point?
  2. Hey good news Dustoff74! I'll have to give this a try.
  3. I tend to agree with you rob10. I'm wondering if they have had a conversation with ED about this? I'm also curious as to what ED thinks of this statement? Unfortunately I'm no closer to finding a solution to this issue.
  4. Hello all, So I've been trying to fix this issue for over a year now to avail. Today I posted (well I tried) to post on the NaturalPoint forum about this and although my post hasn't been approved yet, someone from NaturalPoint must have seen it cause they magically posted a response on a thread that's almost a year old 10mins after I submitted mine. I'm not sure they are correct about this as I've tried unplugging everything and still get the same issue and I've let them know this as well. They have stated the following; https://forums.naturalpoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=19034#p71901 "There is currently a bug in DCS which limits the amount of USB devices that can be connected at once. I am not aware of a solution, but please try to limit the use of USB devices while using DCS to troubleshoot this issue."
  5. Wicked....thanks very much!
  6. Thanks for the info Rudel_chw! So, it sounds like to avoid a complete download/re-install, before I toast windows I copy or move the main folder on the C drive to an external and then "restore" it once I have the new windows up and running (along with the saved games DCS folder). From there I run the updater.exe repair and should be good to go?
  7. Hello! Sorry if this has been answered but as of now I haven't found enough info to be confident I'll do it right. I'm preparing to re-install Windows and wondering what I need to do with DCS to keep all my "stuff"? So far I've read that you need to de-activate modules, backup both main (I'm running OB) and saved games folders. Once I've got the new windows up and running I download and install a new copy of DCS OB. Once that's done I over right the folders with my old, backed up folders?
