I would go with the mappings as detailed in Chuck's guide. These are all you need. Don't feel you can't use the keyboard though. We can't all afford a fancy HOTAS setup.

Its a great aircraft. I have both the Hornet and the F16 but currently have been in nothing but the Jeff since getting it. You have to be choosey with your payload as it is multi role but not multi mission like the FA18 but it is tons of fun. The sytems all just work and the SA/RWR/HSD is the best in my opinion. Chucks guide is great and there are some useful videos on Youtube. Once you get your head round the Hotas it is all really intuitive. Would love to see more people in the jet as everyone seems to be in the 14,16 & 18 :)

Hi buddy. Following advice online I now do not assign keys using the Saitek software. For your profile remove anything you have programmed and then use the controls configuration in DCS to assign axis and key binds. In windows controller setup disable clutch mode for your X52. If you want to use the mini stick set the mode to binds and then assign the keys you want to each axis. I use it to slew the FCR cursor and TGP for example. Hope this helps.

All working prior to update but I am now unable to slew the radar cursor using the mini stick on my Saitek X52. Also experiencing the RDR Antenna elevation issue reported by others. Thank you for all the new features though. Don't want to sound like a whinging tart :)
