HA HA SOLVED IT!!! windows vista aero function needs to be disabled!(if you are running on vista) To do this right click on the lock-on flaming cliffs game icon (or lockon.exe) and select properties -> compatibility tab -> compatibility mode - select run this program for windows XP sp2 -> in settings tick the 'Disable Desktop composition' click on ok. Now when starting LO:FC an info bar should pop in the corner of the screen saying that display mode has change to windows vista basic. Let me know if it works for you!

Hi there. im having exactly the same problems. tried looking through posts, cant find any similar problems, However by saving the registry key you do not have to keep activating it every time you reinstall. Lock On v.1.1: Flaming Cliffs Activation Store Utility will do this for you. save the file to your desktop. then re install LO:MOC and LO:FC and double click on the file and windows will install the file. let me know if you ever solved the problem, because im stumped (i would say that I'm pretty knowledgeable with computers)
