[FIXED] Entering manual coordinates into DST 59
FoxTrotAlpha691 replied to FoxTrotAlpha691's topic in Fixed Bugs
Thanks for reproducing this issue for @uboats, what you described is exactly what I have been experiencing. The data is erased and not saved when attempting to enter latitude, also if I copy an already entered set of coordinates into an empty position 59, I am then able to enter a full set of coordinates however the aircraft will continue to point at the original coordinates and not the newly entered ones. -
FoxTrotAlpha691 started following LUA change to add PL-12 , Mapping the ALT ADJUST control , [FIXED] No TACAN on HSD and 3 others

Roger that, thanks for the heads up.

I am not able to receive any TACAN information in either SP or MP. I have tried at airfields that I added the mobile TACAN to as well as airfields that have one onsite and get the same result, no reception and no symbology on the HSD so the TACAN cannot be boxed after entering information into aircraft. See attached screenshot and .trk file. NO TACAN.trk

[FIXED] Entering manual coordinates into DST 59
FoxTrotAlpha691 replied to FoxTrotAlpha691's topic in Fixed Bugs
Ok the workaround did not resolve my issue. It allows me to enter the coordinates but when I select waypoint 59 the aircraft still points to the original location for data position 59. When I enter the aircraft that position has data in it, I hit the key next to the coordinate and enter the new data but as I said before it still points to the old location. Clearing that data position out and entering new data causes the coordinates to disappear completely as shown in my video. So no joy at this point. -
[FIXED] Entering manual coordinates into DST 59
FoxTrotAlpha691 replied to FoxTrotAlpha691's topic in Fixed Bugs
Much appreciated @Napillo and @tekwoj I knew I remembered being able to do this with no issue in the past. Will give it a try later today. -
*Moved here from general discussion forum. I am having trouble entering manual coordinates into the DST specifically entering new airfield coordinates into data field 59. When I enter the N coordinates and press the left arrow key the numbers disappear instead of being entered and then allowing me to select the N setting. Not sure what I am doing wrong I have done this in the past and it seemed pretty straight forward. Any assistance is appreciated. DST ISSUE.mp4

Thanks for the quick response, much appreciated.

I see in the manual that the velocity vector (VV) can be caged/uncaged using the Left Multifunction Switch, however I am unable to find this binding in the controls. Can anyone advise on how to bind this function?

Excellent, thanks for the quick response, checking out your video now. Salute.

In today's update the change log mentioned the addition of the PL-12 to the weapons load out. Please advise what changes need to be made to the LUA to add the new weapon.

WMD7 shows as 'OFF' after DTC update
FoxTrotAlpha691 replied to FoxTrotAlpha691's topic in JF-17 Thunder
Yes, I went back and read the section on the WMD7 again and located this on page 165, it is only one mention of it but it does state to press the CLDP button to allow the pod to do its BIT test and come online. It does not say to do this from a cold start but it is there. -

This was a cold start, when you click the CMBT button on the AAP panel all systems necessary for combat are activated with the exception of the SPJ pod which must be pressed individually. Here is a snip of the page in the Chuck's Guide for the Jeff that shows the AAP panel, please advise which button is the one for the WMD7, to my knowledge there is not one and it is not listed in the legend.
