Hack Harris

Hi all, i have just bought the F18. Been doing the training up to press and enjoying flying it. fly's prefect all controls (Axis controls) work fine in training, Full throttle with after burners speed goes uptp 650. i thought id try the Alert 5 Mission. as you know you start on the deck, i disengage launch bar, Throttle to full with after burner and it catapults me of the deck. Problem i have is after ive left the deck the speed doesn't go above 150-165, this is at full throttle, then it slowly starts to go down until i cant fly the plane. it is fine when i do the training and take off from the deck. I can do both taining and missions in the Frogfoot and all Axis controls work fine, Just not in the F18 Im using Virpil Mongoos T-50 Throttle control system, and ive check it all with the software. works fine, so i'm thinking its something i'm maybe doing wrong or not pressing, as this sim is so life like i maybe missing something. Ive recently install DCS, I'm using Slaw Device rudder pedal, Virpil throttle control box and Virpil Warbird flight stick.I'm able to map all buttons on the throttle box , both pitch and roll (the Axis) work on the flight stick, but i can not map any button on it when i press a button it wont map to designated control. am i missing something. any help gratefully received. thx in advance.
