  1. That folder's a mix of your purchased aircraft modules and the AI modules you see flying around & on the ground that aren't available as a end-client aircraft module. You'll be somewhat lonely if you delete those.
  2. I did a forum search and didn't find anything about rapid mode so I thought I might create a post about it in case it's useful to someone. I purchased two EVO 860's last week, they're great drives, however I only just stumbled across Samsung's Rapid Drive tech, I didn't know of its existence until now. You'll lose 1GB of RAM to Rapid Mode, the drive apparently uses it as a buffer to create nice efficient fast sequential read and writes. Rapid mode is available on EVO's dating all the way back to the 400 series. Samsung software: Link I have one of the 500GB EVO's solely dedicated to DCS and its saved games folder and that is the drive I enabled Rapid Mode. (*Note: The reason I say this is as far as I can tell, you can only enable RM on 1x EVO drive per system?). Here's a pre-rapid mode screenshot from last week: And from 15 minutes ago after enabling Rapid Mode (Same EVO drive, I changed the designation from F: to E) Slight jump on the read and writes I'd say o.0 , most definitely very noticeable in-game, zero in-game loading stutters thus far, smoooooth. If you have an EVO and want to enable RM on your drive, install their software, launch, and the rest is pretty self-explanatory. Also, you may as well update your firmware whilst in the console if it's old, takes about 15 seconds+reboot. :) Hopefully this is useful to some of you guys with EVO's that may be unaware of Rapid Mode, as I was.... Cheers Ntro
  3. Hi, This is a Steam install. After I had to re-install Windows 10 the other day, all my modules worked fine upon load, except for my beloved I-16. It shows up on the main screen row, I can select it, however once a flight is selected it does the whole go to the theater map only, do not pass go thingo. I have tried the various fixes available - ticking the box in my steam DLC to un-install, then re-tick to reinstall, no-go. Removed module entirely from DCS directory structure and let it reinstall that way, nope, waited 4 days to see if the 3-day security system re-authenticates, that'd be a no. The module's too new to have any wiki registry fix available as yet, so no love there. Here's the output log for my error: ------------------------------------------------- 2019-06-04 22:04:45.077 ERROR SECURITYCONTROL: failed to load (mm) ./Mods/aircraft/I-16/bin/I16FM.dll.crypt 2019-06-04 22:04:45.077 ERROR WorldPlugIns: Can't load plugin module I16FM.dll ------------------------------------------------- Any help on the matter would be appreciated, missing my relaxing early morning I-16 splutter & caffeine fix :( Cheers Ntro **Edit: (SOLVED). I saw a post on here that stated Win 7 needed a VC pack from Microsoft, I'm Win 10, DL'ed and install..fixed :) Go to: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/down....aspx?id=30679 Select - VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe
