  1. I spoke to CH this week. I asked 'what's going on with Control Manager' and was asked, 'Gee, what do you mean'. I said 'you know, the mode buttons are grayed out and when you load a map nothing works'. And he said, 'Oh, yeah'. So that was disgusting. Apparently they're pretending there's no problem. But they know it's broken and have no plan to fix it. I asked if they had told Microsoft that the recent Win10 update broke their software and was told 'I don't know'. I asked three times.... and they're not really interested. I was told 'we hope maybe it will just be fixed in a future update'. You know... like magic. They said 'Control Manager' is optional software and they will not fix it. Also was told they might leave the consumer market in a few years. It's frustrating. I've been a CH user for 25 years and really like their gear.
  2. Robin Hood - thank you for your posts, they are extremely helpful. You should get a job working for CH.
  3. I've tried about ten different fixes for the 'Control Manager stops working' problem and none of them worked (well, some did for awhile but then stopped working). This is the only thing I've found that works (so far): You have to be able to restore your Win10 to the previous version. Do that, then immediately do a 'Start, Run' on 'Services.msc'. Scroll down to the bottom, find 'Windows Update' and DISABLE it. This will let you keep the version of Windows that doesn't break Control Manager. I hope Microsloth doesn't push down the update anyway after a certain amount of time. But if disabling the 'Windows Update' in services.msc works long term we're good. Best thing is for CH to work with Microsloth and get a real fix but I think that's a remote possibility. I think they'll just get out of the consumer market, but we shall see.
  4. I've had good luck with the 'download your map as soon as you start your PC' but then after awhile my controllers will randomly not be found. Last time it was the rudder pedals that vanished. I've tried all the tricks I've read online, nothing works consistently.
