Hi friends,
After fooling around a bit i think i have the issue of the fake_spot_lights solved and it was actually quite simple and it seems to work for me.
Since it cant find the fake_spot_lights.fx file i made a copy of the fake_spot_lights2.fx file and just renamed it to the fake_spot_lights.fx file in the same folder.....
It seems to work !
ill run more tests lateron ....
See if it works for you guys as well ...

Hi friends,
I usually edit my campaigns with some additional statics and moving objects with the mission editor.
But when i lay out a planned route for the vehicle to follow , the vehicle drives off the route like having a route/mind of its own and drives off into the woods or thru the buildings or aircraft, then trying to find its way back to the turn it missed :megalol:. :helpsmilie:
I use the default vehicles only and the default Caucasus terrain and default airports and no added mods.
Can anyone maybe explain or give me a hand with this ?

Apologies for not reading the many other threads that are on atm since we all struggling with this issue trying to make things work..... ans evenso ive edited the vehicles myself already , yet the vcp men are not working anylonger either and we can have only the infantry , soldier or the deck crew as personell around the airports ......
Such a shame DCS didnt take this into account to keep these great addons compatible .... civ obj .... civ aircraft ... ect ..... Some of us spended weeks / months editicng to make the scenes more realistic or alive. For now all these investments seem lost and i hope they will take this into account , orrr integrate these into DCS as standard..... not to mention those developers who took the time and efford to make these addons which must have taken months , just to show their appreciation for this game. I hope they will take this seriously coz i think alot of the users use these addons.

aws tyvm friends :( so all the edititing we did was for nothing :(.... spended months editing the campaigns and was to upload my works on the campaigns ..... no need for it now anymore i guess

Hello Friends,
after installing the latest update DCS/2.5.6.49798 Stable Ver. some 3rd party addons , like civilian objects, are not working anymore and it cant load the textures anymore from the users/ect... file where we were supposed to add all the addons in DCS. The game locks up and crashes after trying to use the editor and load one of the objects. The logfile referrs to that it cant load or find the shaders and it looks like this :

Now i've updated and reinstalled all my drivers and tried the repair option from DCS but the results are the same.
Does any of you have this same issue ?

Thanks friends for all the replies already ..... really thought i was the only one since i didnt find anything about it before in the forum and none of the developers had a clue what might cause this.
I really went to the ends by formatting to see if the problem could be solved ... never the less was for nothing ... not a fan of going thrue the whole installation processes of windows ha !
Anyways ... thanks a lot for the possible solutions and ill give it a shot on my next mission since it seems only to record them from mission 6.
Takes out one of the most fun parts if one can't land after a good mission with all the wind and drag effects one gets while inbound.

From the second mission, the kills are not registered when ending the mission, in either the Debriefing or in the Logbook. Same goes for mission 3, 4, and 5 where the kills of the player remains 0 in the debriefing. Only from mission 6 it starts registering the A2A kills.
Now i've reinstalled the campaign twice ..used the repair option ... same result. Then even took out all of DCS and reinstalled ... still the same. One step even further ... ive formatted my drives and reinstalled everything from the core without any addons.
I have only reshade added as a MOD coz i like to keep a clean as possible install of DCS.
Now ive first already contacted the creator and he didnt think it was a problem within or from the Campaign itself.
So i contacted DCS IT, send in my logs and debriefing.log and asked ... also they couldnt help and never heard about this issue.
Have any of you heard of anything similar like this problem ?
Imagine having the fight of your life in the air .... completed the task .... fly all the way to home plate ... land ... park and ending the mission on succes ... only then to find the number 0 in the A2A kills :( .... its depressing.
