Anyone willing to give a "newbie" a hand on today's evening? I would like to get into touch with some fellow squadrons...
-
I will introduce my female best friend next week into the world of DCS A10C...let's see, how she performs!
-
Ahh, I see....but the Interesting ones are really expensive...Holy Mother of God!
-
Ahh,ok, thanks for the link...although at least some of the german squadron's links are offline. :(

Hi there...
is there a single, quite generic collective available which can be connected via USB to use it with your warthog stick?
I would really like to try the helicopter modules in the future, but without the proper collective, it sure would be less immersive.

Holy mother of god...that stick is just AWESOME!!!

Hey there...for a long long time I have been absent to DCS and stuff.
But, I want to come back now, especially the multiplayer part of the sim.
Are there any squadrons, preferrably from Germany, who are willing to lend me a hand in getting back at the game?

Now...how cool is THAT!!! The TM WH BEGS to be modular with its current setup!
-
Yeah. I grew up near Nörvenich and Geilenkirchen in Western Northrhine-Westfalia, near the Cities Düren and Aachen.
We have plenty of airplanes flying around... Most of the Time you can see the AWACS and Eurofighters, right on the second place you can spot Tornados and sometimes even A10`s and F16's from 52nd TFW at Spangdahlem.
-
Ahh ok, thanks for that... I first thought, it was some kind of aerodynamic phenomenon..
-
WTF is a Mach Loop?
-
No doubt about that, but I personally prefer the Tornado over anything else.
-
Whhops, hadn't checked the list before...
But I hope we will get the Tornado reasonably soon.

Hey folks.
Been off of the Forums for quite some time, the same goes for A10C now, but i'm getting back into it now.
I was amazed to what the DCS Series grew up and that we are now able to fully include third party modules into the core program. I'm looking forward wor beczl's Mig21Bis and also for the VAEO's addons.
Been into the Eurofighter Forums and checked those out and I was thinking about classification of all those systems and how one can achieve the high fidelity of DCS that everyone got used to.
So I kept thinking about the Panavia Tornado. I really like that plane and also had some Simulator Hours over at a CAE Simulator in Stolberg, Germany.
I know, that many of the Systems of the Tornado might be classified, too, but I think it should be quite easier to develop this plane as a third party addon for DCS. I know, someone developed a Tornado for Falcon:BMS. I know, how much of that module was based on facts or approximations, but it showed, that it was possible.
So, long story short: Would it be possible and manageable to develop a Tornado module in the future?
Greetings

Mhh, interesting question ,though I#m not quite sure about this one.
Since the TVV is somewhat of an "impact point" calculated with a given time and speed, it could lead to an erroneous TVV calculation.

I noticed today, that my slew switch died... pretty annoying... also, to hear that TM support is that shitty... well...
is there any form of replacement? my uncle is an electrician who works on PLCs and more often on SMDs and stuff... should be an easy one to replace that switch.

3000 to 4000ft seems rather high for dropping in CCIP.
Try dropping from a lower altitude to reduce the footprint of the bomblets.
-
I remember the WWII Fighters from JANE'S.
Hey, i was 9 or 10, i think, when i got this, but hey, it kicked ****ing asses for me.
On every plane in the sim, there was a gallery with like guns, engine etc. on the aircraft and about 5 to 10 mins of voice recording telling you all you need to know about, for example, the engine of the plane.
Hell, i felt fantastic flying this and had a shitload of fun.
-
Same goes for me, but I think, that my LED row of those 5 LED on the top side is blown...
Ok, quite shitty, but for me, no reason to send it back now, as it is just rock solid and super precise... and always nice to grip on.

Now this is the shit...
Awesome work you're doing there mate... looks quite good...

Schön gemacht, Peter... Sieht äusserst stabil aus und macht sicher Spaß, damit zu fliegen.
Nicely done, Peter. Looks quite sturdy and must be a lot of fun to fly with.

I could only make an educated guess, but i think it would be some gases like argon or helium or similar.
Read about that they were used for cooling on other missiles.
