  1. No, the actual ejection sequence was meant. Not the part with pressing some buttons, but the actual seat physics...

this topic has been discussed earlier and it would make a huge addition, because, a more realistic simulation on that one would've saved many of my virtual lifes.

  2. Yeah, always nice to know^^

There was a Simulator some years ago, i think it was something right from the "Strike Fighters" Family, where you were a soldier and had to pay everything... Never played this sim, but it sounded quite interesting, though i would think it would stress the simmers much more, if there was a cost aspect besides learning all those stuff re. A10C

But maybe, as a future mod, it would be quite interesting, just to see, how many billion dollars you just shot during the last mission.

  3. Hey folks.

Today i got my first Mav "Kill"... Ok, to be honest, I used slomo, and just got a Track on the last couple of seconds before i flew over the target, and killed him...

afterwards i tried to to it in realtime, but its quite hard, to keep the A/C stable, put the Mav Seeker on the Target, Ground Stabilize, Track and Kill him

    I will keep trying

    Greetings

    Chris

  4. Hey folks.

I practised a lot yesterday and the day before, and managed to get her back without tearing my gears apart.

This thing is just frickin' damn cool, even without flipping the master arm.

    Thanks ED for this.

  5. Hey there.

I always have som silly yaw movement. It is ok when im on Ground, but once in flight i got a significant yaw to the right. i double checked my controller bindings but found nothing like a double - bind etc.

Is there any solution for the problem? all other axes work fine.

  6. Just used that program (thanks a lot delta) and it told me, that i would need to upgrade my ram from 3.2 up to 4gb (i.e getting a 64bit os)

all other parts should meet the requirements (since when does my graphics card have 2gb of memory???-.-)

  7. Ok thanks, Sinky...

Im planning to do a small upgrade this year, regarding my Cpu and Gpu... Due to my old Mainboard i will buy a Core 2 Quad and maybe a GF 470. And next year before my time at the university, im planning on getting a completely new Computer.

Do you think that only upgrading my GPU should work fine for DCSW? If so, i could at least save some money...

    Greetings

  8. There's an emergency release handle on the right hand side of the seat portion.

Just pull this, and the harness gets unlocked so you can jump out. But i don't know, if the survival kit is also effected by this... IIRC its not.

  9. For me... a more realistic ejection sequence.

I think, this one's pretty much on the bottom of the list, bit it would've saved my pilots life more often.

Pointing at my thread regarding the same topic, there were some charts postet, and some guys even tested actual situations with quite "catastrophic" results.

I recognised a lot of improvements regarding that topc in BS. After the last patch, the sequence was much faster and so seemed more realistic...and at last believable.

I think it wouldn't be that hard to use the charts posted in my thread, taking some points out of there, and then loosely calculate the graph to get a similar curve as the charts.

I know, this is not DCS:ACES II, but i think it's worth it.
