  1. It crashes at the initial gaming load screen after executing the dcs world shortcut I can’t even start a mission obviously. i'm not sure why it tries to write a track file....perhaps just a part of the dump log file.
  2. Hey Everyone, I've been able to run DCS OB with my HP Reverb for over a year without issues, but since either updating to latest OB, or updating Win 10 to 2004, the game keeps crashing at startup. I see the 'hanger' screen with the mig29, but textures are missing from the plane and then DCS generates crash log. I'm able to start the game in non VR mode no problem. Likewise, a half dozen other VR games I have are running without issue on my system. There is no GPU overclocking. No mods. Crash logs attached. Support desk we unable to help other than suggesting to me to google "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED". Logs are in this forum where I'm not getting much luck https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4440078&posted=1#post4440078 All drivers and patches are up to date. I've tried rolling back Nvidia drivers with DDU multiple times with multiple versions including old 446.14 to the latest and greatest 451.85 hot fix. I've tried repairing my DCS install I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled I've tried beta and non beta version of WMR and steam. I've tried disabing vsync in Nvidia CP Reduced AA and PP settings Tried renaming openbeta folder in saved games I tried rubbing my belly and jumping at the same time to no avail. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!
  3. No mods no. I tried once again renaming folder, but again, it crashes in VR
  4. Thanks for suggestions, but even with disabling everything, the game still crashes in VR. frustrating. Anyone from ED looking at my logs?
  5. I mistyped my original posting. There is NO gpu overclocking. It's stock.

  7. Interesting. Never noticed it on my client version till now. Regardless, its too bad the per application motion smoothing option are working as intended for me. I've tried both the stable and beta steamvr clients without success.
  8. Hi Everyone, Noticed with the newest SteamVR 1.9.xx client that there are new options for setting motion smoothing on a per application basis under the video options. This would be an awesome feature as some games work excellent with no motion smoothing, but others such as DCS, seems to work better with it enabled in my case. Gets very tiresome having to flipping back and forth modifying the config in notepad every time I change games. I've tried with a couple VR games thus far, including DCS, and it seems regardless of what option I choose in the GUI, motion smoothing is always leveraging what I have configured in my default.vrsettings file. The SteamVR client options seems to have no effect. Has anyone been able to get this working?
  9. To those with VR when applying this registry edit Make sure to enabled "Full Screen" in your DCS video settings. Press ALT+Enter to make your mirrored VR display take up the full width of your monitor and not just a windowed display. I'm now seeing about a 3 - 5 FPS increase. I guess because the windows desktop no longer has to be rendered, it frees up some resources. Nice little tweak Question. Is there a way to always make the mirrored desktop display full screen, instead of having to press ALT+Enter each time in VR?
  10. I'm not seeing a performance difference in VR. Running HP reverb. Full screen more is disabled in DCS video settings. EDIT: If I enable Full Screen in DCS video settings and then press ALT+Enter to make my mirrored VR display full screen, I do see a few FPS increase. Nothing crazy, but every frame helps:) Nice find.
