  2. I know the "Y","U","I" keys are used to select weapon hardpoints but for the life of me I can't find the switch in the heli pit? And I've looked in the manual and searched the forums to no avail.
  3. Thanks, I think I'll go for it. Does anyone have the already configured "LandTexturesTGA.cdds" File? I'm not too savy on converting files I'm afraid. :(
  4. Do you also prefer to put a slight "Curve" in the throttle/collective movement in the axis settings or is this just recommended for the "Cyclic"
  5. Since I'm unfortunately having the same/similar problem... How badly does this lower the in game shading... Am I better off using this fix and having no cloud shadows or dealing with the verticl lines when down low? And does this fix help FPS? What's the verdict lately? Thanks.

  7. What's the concensus regarding the mapping of the Throttle quadrant in a HOTAS set up for "Collective". Right now I have it set up similar to all my other flight sims where when you push throttle forward it increases thrust/power/collective. Do any of you have the throttle mapped similar to an actual collective stick in that when you pull back on the throttle lever (collective) it increases power/thrust/collective? Just thinking that maybe I should reverse the axis on my throttle quadrant.... :thumbup:

  9. Wow!... That's depressing news.... Hopefully, now that BLack Shark is being sold across the USA at local retail stores (Gamestop and Bestbuy to name a few) the Devs will be a little more motivated to fix this apparently nagging issue.
  10. SAME PROBLEM HERE: Getting strange graphical glitch: Black moving vertical lines on terrain when viewed from inside pit only. THey seem to be related to the rotor movement as they get better but do not totally go away as the blades slow and eventually stop (shown below). I'm running VISTA 64 and have an ATI 4750 card. No matter what seetings in game I choose everything maxed or lowered I can't seem to get them to go away. These screen were taken on the default Instant Action Mission on the US DvD release game.

Believe me I've spent days searching for a post regarding this issue on these very forums and in Google.... :doh: So from what I can see in the other post this is a KNOWN BUG since the LOMAC days and there isn't anything that can be done about it? :cry: The only thing that I can deduct from the linked post is that there is a .cfg Hack that totally disables all clound rendering Shadows and/ or terrain Shadows. Also, this problem is not related to specific drivers? Have there been any official metion of it being addressed via the upcomming patch or is there any other "Better" workarounds availible... :(
