  1. Maybe try starting DCS.exe with the command, not the DCS_updater. I think I had a similar issue. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
  2. What is your Y value in the VRK settings? I have set Y=-0,55. Looks wrong inside steamVR, but works well inside DCS. The coordinate systems seem to be different. If DCS sets the Kneeboard above your head, it is invisible (from the backside).
  3. The overlay finally works - in fact it did all the time... The zero coordinates for positioning the overlay are different inside steamVR and DCS. So when I set up the kneeboards position while viewing it in steamVR, DCS elevated it above my head when it started up. And from below it isn't visible as was already pointed out. So for me it seemed to disappear after working nicely outside DCS before. After I set its position up while in-game everything works perfectly well. In steamVR I'm on the floor level now when I start VRK, but I don't bother. Btw, for me the starting order seems to have no impact on VRK. Thanks again Panther for your ideas, tips and patience!
  4. Alright I will try this. I'm already off for my working week, so away from the sim until Friday evening. Will report back next weekend. Thank you for your help so far Panther!
  5. The right oculus button in-game opens the oculus overlay for me, not steamvr. So DCS seems to use the oculus s/w indeed. The steps I took for starting it up: 1. Started VRK. SteamVR and oculus start automatically, steamvr ist displayed in the headset with VRK overlay working. 2. started DCS with --force_steam_VR from the desktop. VRK overlay disappears and DCS starts while SteamVR is still displayed in the headset. But then obviously oculus takes over... I'm starting to feel a bit stupid here...
  6. That came to my mind too. The Oculus s/w seems to be a prerequisite for SteamVR as it always starts automatically, is that correct? Is there a way to run SteamVR without the Oculus s/w in the background? I have no idea how to better verify that it is running in SteamVR than checking whether its repeating in the VR-mirroring window like someone suggested earlier in this thread. Tested taking out --force_VR and the result is the same.
  7. Great piece of work, Rider! Thank you for your efforts! Although I was not able to get it running in the sim so far. Maybe I missed something. I am using VRK with the Intuos S and the Oculus Rift CV1. When only VRK and SteamVR are running, the overlay works fine and behaves as expected inside VR. As soon as I load the sim (still in the SteamVR "room" with the loading-icon) the overlay disappears and only comes back after restarting SteamVR and VRK after leaving the sim. I start DCS with --force_VR and --force_steam_VR and it also shows in the Steam-mirroring window. Didn't find this behaviour reported in this post yet. Can someone give me a hint in the right direction please?
