I were under the impression from reading multiple threads that vista would slow down my fps because of the bigger over head for the OS,only reason I can see is direct X10 but comparison screenys do not make a compelling enough argument at the moment . I have windows 7 Beta on another machine I will make a partition on my gaming machine and compare FPS! Also read up on these tests and came to the conclusion it was not worth using affinity in XP, getting 35fps to 40fps using one core on my Q6600 most of the time , I got a good cooler so i will wind her up to 3.2ghz to get some more FPS that way!:) Cheers Redeye

Will there be a patch to use all cores on a multicore cpu, like microsofts sp1 sp2 for FSX? running windows xp service pack 3 Cheers Redeye

Purchased the retail DVD 2 weeks ago from the fighter collection! Been Having fun Building Missions etc, Learning all systems, flying Aerobatics! Reminds me of learning all the systems on the f16 in Open Falcon 4.5. How do I put the virtual pilot in the virtual pit? Want to make some Aerobatic Videos!:D Cheers Redeye
