Gerne. Schön, wenn es Dir weiterhilft. Das wundert mich ehrlich gesagt nicht. Es gibt wahrscheinlich kein anderes Unterforum hier, in dem so viele unbeantwortete Threads verstauben wie im Missionseditor Unterforum. Der Missionseditor in DCS ist eine derart komplexe Nischenbeschäftigung in einem Nischenprodukt, dass es wahrscheinlich gar nicht so viele Leute gibt die sich damit intensiv beschäftigen und noch viel weniger, die ihn aus dem FF beherrschen. Wenn eine dieser Personen mal die Muße hätte, so ca. 100 Videos á 2-3 Stunden aufzunehmen und eine detaillierte Tutorialreihe zum ME auf YT hochzuladen, würden sich wohl nicht wenige Leute freuen...

Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob ich die Problematik richtig verstanden habe. Der Task "Follow" hat die Option "last waypoint", da musst Du einen Haken setzen und genannten Wegpunkt X festlegen. Zu beachten ist, dass sich "last waypoint" immer auf einen Wegpunkt der Einheit bezieht, der gefolgt werden soll, nicht auf einen Wegpunkt der Einheit die den "Follow" Befehl erhält.
Beispiel:
Du lässt die Helikopter zu ihrem eigenen WP1 fliegen, ab da sollen sie dann dem Konvoi folgen. Der Konvoi fährt seine eigenen Wegpunkte 1-5 ab. Du setzt den Befehl "Follow" unter "Advanced (Waypoint Actions)" für die Helis ab deren WP1 und setzt als "last waypoint" dann WP4 des Konvois. Wenn Du nun möchtest, dass die Helikopter bei WP4 des Konvois auf einem nahegelegenen FARP landen, setzt Du WP2 für die Helis auf das FARP und definierst diesen WP als "Landing". Die Helikopter werden dem Konvoi bis zu dessen WP4 folgen und dann direkt zu ihrem WP2 fliegen und landen.
Die Einheit die den Befehl "Follow" erhält wird, nachdem der Befehl ungültig geworden ist, immer zu dem WP fliegen der auf den WP mit dem "Follow" Befehl folgt.
Das funktioniert allerdings, soweit ich weiß, nicht mit WP0 der Einheit. Zumindest war es mal so. Die folgende Einheit muss immer erst WP1 abfliegen. Erhält sie schon bei WP0 den Befehl "Follow" wird sie, nachdem der Befehl ungültig geworden ist, zuerst wieder zu WP0 fliegen und dann zu WP1. Warum und ob das tatsächlich immer noch so ist, kann ich Dir nicht sagen bzw. konnte es jetzt nicht extra testen.
All das trifft so übrigens auch 1 zu 1 auf den Befehl "Escort" zu. Zumindest in der Theorie, in der Praxis wissen wir ja alle... bugs und so Zeug...

Uhm... no. Go back further. I have clearly stated that RB did a great job with the F-15E and that its EA release was one of the best we ever had in DCS. Can´t remember the rest as it was a few weeks ago, but i have definately been tending to RB before. As for the confrontation, yes. Absolutely, i have been hoping for some of them to get here and deny anything i´ve said, hence the screenshots. I do get, that some ppl are upset that this didn´t stay under the rug. As said before, the behavior on the RB discord changed significantly since yesterday, so this did make a difference and i couldn´t be too wrong, don´t you think?

That was a single post and i have no problem admitting that i was shocked about this beeing tolerated. Not the behavior itself. That is just disgusting and doesen´t touch me. Idiotic? You saw the screenshot i provided in my recent post. You don´t want to tell me, that this was just calling russians "russians", do you? Believe it or not, but everything i said (and will say) about what is/was going on at the RB discord, is backed with screenshots. And it´s not like you need to watch discord all the time, it is enough to open it like 2 or 3 times a day and it´s almost everytime a hit without scrolling up. Or better was, as the tone on the RB discord surprisingly changed significantly since yesterday, with M2M even jumping in asking for people not to post such stuff anymore. Why such a 180° turn just because of some nonsense posted on the ED forum? I´m pretty sure they wouldn´t, if there weren´t any screenshots of all this. Seems to be the effect when ppl realise their disgusting and primitive language is carried out to the public and they can´t deny it anymore. Very telling, isn´t it? As i said, RB is done for me. And not because of the ED/RB dispute, no, definately not (in fact, i have been tending towards RB in this case, if you check my posts before these things took place - i have been with RB). And btw: The best thing is, i have seen multiple ppl on the RB discord having the russian flag in their nickname. What do you think must these ppl feel like when they have to read such things? Razbam asked ED (according to Notso) multiple times to take the F-15E out of the ED store, while at the same time they mysteriously forgot that they have their own homepage advertising the Mudhen and linking it to the ED store? Oh realy? I do understand the homepage isn´t their first priority with all these things going on, but if you rant on someone (especially in the way the RB devs did), you should get your own stuff together before doing so. I don´t think this is asked too much, do you?
And when the ppl on the RB discord get confronted with this fact, all they can say is "this should not be put against RB"? Well, fair enough. I would agree, i realy would. If RB wouldn´t rant on ED prior to get their stuff together. But even if, that is not a one way ticket. ED trying to solve this behind closed doors should also not be put against them. Wether the Mudhen should be taken out of the store or not, is debatable. I´ve seen reasonable arguements here for both ways. I personally don´t think that taking the mudhen out of the store will be good for any side, but that is up to them.-

Thx for the hint, but tbh i don´t think that would have much of an impact. Imo, RB and their fanbase are already derailed beyond repair.

This isn´t Razbams first <profanity>show btw. I remember them trying to paint the Harrier as feature complete while it was nowhere near feature complete. The had to back down after a massive <profanity>storm on the forum. And i´m still waiting for my promised Harrier manual, RB is incapable of delivering for years now. Razbam has a very "special" reputation, not only in the DCS community, but in every community they provide 3rd party modules for.

The RB discord is nothing but a huge melting pot for hate speech and personal attacks, wich says everything about RB and their fanboys. And someone acting like that, is likely to be the one beeing responcible for things going down. One who is in the right, does not need to act like RB and their fanboys do on the RB discord.-

If RB would be in the right here, they would´ve sued ED over that issue (if it is even true, that they haven´t been payed for almost a year now). They don´t. The arguement i´ve read on the RB discord was "lawyers cost money" while A) there are insurances for these cases EVERY reasonable company has and B) if you sue somebody and win, the other side has to pay your lawyer and all your expenses regarding this case. So in conclusion, i´d say RB does exactly know they are not in the right here and are scared of taking legal actions because they know they would lose any trial. Otherwise they would´ve taking legal actions without anyone noticing in public, instead they choosed the way of going to public and tried to put pressure on ED by using the community as lever.
And as someone else here in the thread already mentioned, holding back payment is very common in the buisness world when a contractor violates the terms of a contract.-

As far as how you might be treated in that Discord, I am sorry you experienced that. There are a lot of intense feelings over there right now and they do not moderate like we do, some like that some don't. Just keep that in mind.
I see. What i wanted to say is, that the tone on the RB discord and my attitude has changed dramatically. I´m aware of the fact, that only official statements of the managment can be taken serious and the rest beeing claims. It´s just that i can´t keep my mouth shut once i feel someone is treated unfair. Nevermind, i should´ve never jumped into that discussion (or more accurate, hate speech), my own fault. Never faced something like that on a official discord of any corp, so the moderation on the ED Forum is much appreciated.

Exactly this. IMPO, Razbam management is just leaving ED to hold the baby. I came to the conclusion, that RB management is not honest to their customers. But that is, as i said, just my personal opinion.

I´ve been observing what was written on the RB discord for quiet a while now and it gave me hope for most of the time as even the RB devs seemed to be very optimistic about the dispute beeing solved. But this has changed dramatically now, i´m giving up hope and call it a day. People on the RB discord seriously comparing the RB/ED dispute with slavery and claim ED wants to force RB to work for free. And they weren´t exaggerating, they were serious about the term slavery. I felt to jump in and tried to clarify what "slavery" truly is and them beeing overdramatic. My fault, recieved massive insults etc. and all this is tolerated by the RB moderators. The attitude on the RB discord is disgusting, honestly. I´m done with RB.
As a sidenote, Metal2Mesh said they offered ED a payment plan, but he deleted that message a few seconds later. Propably something RB didn´t want to share with the public. I was just too slow to take a screenshot...

On the other hand, DCS on Steam keeps working even while the ED login servers are down as DRM is done via Steam and not via ED. I have several games on Steam that still work perfectly, even while these are removed from the Steam shop and the developer is bancrupt for years now. Can still install and play them without issues. DCS (Singleplayer) on Steam is not dependant on ED staying alive, wich ist the biggest advantage over standalone. Has always been a theoretical advantage, but given the current situation it´s getting less theoretical i´d say.

They all had/have their bugs and issues during EA/until now, but in comparison the Strike Eagle provided one of the best packages at EA start. Sidewinders, Sparrows, Amraams, a fleshed out Radar and FM, Durandals, LGBs and a huge amount of various other A/G ordonance from day one. And multicrew was also usable. Sure it had sync issues and still has some in it´s currents state, but when i think about the Apache back then...well. Also JDAMs, TFR and JSOWs following pretty short after EA launch. I´d say, in terms of functionality and bang for the buck, the Strike Eagle was one of the best EA launches DCS has ever seen with the first confirmed kill of the mudhen beeing the ED download server. Razbam made a great job with the Strike Eagle until this ED/RB issue occured.
I´ve been waiting for this bird to come back onto PC since Jane´s F-15 and it may easily replace the Hornet as my fav. jet.... i hope so bad this issue gets solved and the Mudhen will get some love again.-

I´ve read somewhere on the RB discord, that the most complex stuff for the mudhen (what they needed the "inreplacable" devs for) is already done (i.e. FM) or just needs very few not too complex features added (i.e. Radar). The missing systems are still a lot of work, but not nearly as complex to code as what has already been done. The rest is adding weapon systems, bugfixing and maintenance. That´s just what i´ve read and ´m not an expert on the topic, but at least it doesen´t sound like "impossible to do"...

Das sind keine Gerüchte oder Behauptungen, sondern vielfach nachgewiesene Tatsachen. Ist dort nämlich im Gesetz verankert.

You call these stuttering enteties moving as smooth as a jammed robot "troops"? realy? And you cannot land "troops" on a rooftop in DCS. What you can do is land on a rooftop and let some troops spawn there from a imaginary inventory created by a script. I have never seen troops in DCS disembarking from a helicopter (means realy sitting inside, open the side door, jump out animated and do a 360), all i have seen is troops spawning out of nowhere.

Ich hab die G2 damals vorbestellt und spiele seit Tag 1 mit 60Hz, weil ich absolut null Unterschied zu 90Hz sehe. Ich seh da nicht das geringste Flackern oder Flimmern. Erstens reagiert da jeder anders drauf und zweitens hat das auch viel damit zu tun, was man gewohnt ist. Ich spiele seit fast 20 Jahren auf einem 60Hz Monitor, somit war das in VR für mich auch kein Problem. Das liegt auch nicht an meiner G2, denn ein Freund von mir wird nach 2 Minuten blass im Gesicht wenn er bei mir die G2 auf hat. Der spielt aber an nem 100Hz Monitor und ist ganz andere Bildwiederholraten gewöhnt. Dass 60Hz gesundheitsschädlich sind, gehört wohl eher in den Bereich der Fantasie. Es gibt Leute denen wird im Auto als Beifahrer schlecht, gesundheitsschädlich ist das deswegen aber ganz sicher nicht. Lediglich unangenehm. Fernseher hatten früher auch nur 50Hz und die Leute hatten nicht massenhaft Hirn - bzw. Augenschäden. Und ruckeln tut da gar nichts, denn ich kann bei meinen Einstellungen 60fps stabil halten (ja, auch im Tiefflug über Damaskus auf nem vollen Server).

thanks for the answer, but i think my description was a bit inaccurate. The axis´ of the throttle base are perfectly fine. It´s the axis on the left handle (that large grey axis wheel - see pic) wich is not working. Neither in DCS, nor in SAP test panel or windows device manager. It´s highlighted in the SAP test panel, but does not registrate any input. According to the WW homepage, it should work on the ST throttle. Sorry for beeing unclear, my fault.

i´m running the F-15EX throttle grips on the old Super Taurus throttle. After flying the Hornet and the Mudhen, i wanted to map my controls for the F-16 now and saw that the axis on the left grip handle doesen´t work. According to the WinWing homepage, it should very much on the ST throttle.
So went back into the SAP test panel and saw the buttons wich are said to not work on the ST are greyed out (as it should be), but the axis on the left throttle grip is highlighted. Still no joy here as well. Is this a limitation of the ST throttle wich isn´t listed on the WW homepage (wich would be unfortunate, as this axis was one of the reasons to get the grips)? Or do i have a faulty unit? Firmware is up to date on all three devices (Throttle base, start-up panel, throttle grips).

Die Betonung lag auf detaillierte Tutorialreihe. Die gibt es nicht auf YT, alles was man da findet ist sehr, sehr oberflächlich.
