  1. But did you have the problem then you bought it, and it is been better, or do you never have the problem? Some don’t have the problem, and some does. Especially on the Orion2, because it is a rubber wheel and a plastic bushing going in to each other. my post is if someone have found a solution? just to mention a few:
  2. As many other users of the Winwing Orion2 throttle, the friction is either too strong, or too less, so in the ends, the weight off the throttle heads is mowing it to the very end (no or full power). Especially the right stick, as it is the most heavy. And another thing, and the most frustration one is then you haven’t touched the throttle in a few minutes maybe, it feels like it sit tight, and you have to use extra power to move it again.
  3. Yes I do!
  4. I bought the Winwing Orion2 HOTAS Max set for about a month ago. To be honest, I’m not that impressed with the Throttle stiction it self. The joystick is fantastic, and I like all the buttons on the throttle quadrant. I know there are other posts and solutions (for some), but I think they are a little bit old (2021-2022), so I hoped Winwing or other users had found a solution. But it doesn’t looks likely. The first thing I did was to order the Nyogel 767A. Sadly the German company I ordered it from, did have summer holiday, so I had to wait for about 14 days. It is always nice to look forward to something good, so my expectations was high, when DHL came with the package. But as you know, then expectations are high, it is easy to be disappointed. And it is what I did. I dismantled the throttle, cleaned all the old grease away, and layered a little amount of Nyogel 767A grease, and assembled it all again. But I didn’t feel a big difference from the original Winwing grease to the Nyogel very expensive grease. The difference wasn’t the new grease money worth. I dismantled the throttle again. This time I cleaned it up again, and layered a bigger layer of grease. Grease all over the rubber wheel, so no dry contact points between the rubber wheel and the plastic. Assembled it again and tested it. Now it was even worse, and absolutely not a solution I could live with. 3rd time I dismantled the throttle again and this time I cleaned all the grease off again. Cleaned the rubber wheel and plastic very thoroughly, so absolutely no grease back left. Assembled it all again, and this is the best result. It is absolutely not great, but I can live with it for a while, but I will hope Winwing find a better solution. What is your experiences and maybe a better solution?
  5. Let me ask another way. The A-10C for example is pre programmed for the Warthog, will it be the same with orion2?
  6. I have had Thrustmaster Warthog for a very very long time, and I’m very satisfied with it. But now I am thinking of investing in the Winwing Orion2 HOTAS Max. And therefore I have a few questions I hope you can answer. I can see that the buttons are very similar to the Warthog, so can I just plug the Winwing HOTAS to the computer, or do I have to reconfigure the controls for all my modules again? I have never had a joystick with FFB, so my question is, if it is worth the money? I know Winwing is from China, but does it have a stock in the EU? Beat regards Henrik
  7. I think I will follow up on my post. Normally, I’m not a person who install mods or other non original files, but after months of waiting for a patch for the Apache yaw problems, I decided to try #qnnrad’s AP yaw fix. What a difference. Now I can control the chopper much much better. Off course the Apache is still heavy, but now I don’t have to fight with her, but enjoy to fly, exactly as I expert. Conclusion: it was definitely the yaw problems, which made the problems with controlling the Apache. And the heavier she was, the more difficult it was to control her.
  8. Thanks for the answer. I then think it is the yaw problems at the Apache modul, who makes the problems. It is almost impossible to fly at some of the missions in Outpost Campaign. Some times full rudder isn't enough to fly strait a head. Some time you have to fight more with the chopper than the enemy.
  9. The first picture is before takeoff. The second picture is George trying to hover. When takeoff, I have to use almost full rudder. The Apache is yawing so much. I now there is a bug at the moment, but It is not that much in other missions outside the Outpost campaign.
  10. I don’t know, but it is in Syria, so I’m sure it is hot. But any way, the chopper still behavior strange, when I’m Winchester. I mean, if it can’t be flown with empty pylons, there must be something wrong.
  11. In some of the missions in the Outpost campaign, I feel the Apache is close to impossible to fly. It feels like the Apache is much too heavy. It is difficult to even take off. You have to use about 85% power before the wheels is in the air. I know there is problems with yaw at the moment, but this is impossible to make a soft sweet take off. When flying, I all the time have to fight to fly her, and it takes to much of concentration. I am under MTW, but it feels like it is much over it. I have tried some instant action missions, loaded the Apache to max MTW, and it is not behaviour like it does in Outpost Campaign. So it can´t just be because i´m that heavy. Even when sitting in front seat, George can’t hover the Apache. When trying to hover, the Apache slowly goes to the ground. George have to fly 40 or more to keep the height. Is it only me, does I do anything wrong, or? I can´t see anything in the forum about it. Best regards Henrik
  12. Hello again Thank you, T-Bone for the solution. I had missed to change ACQ to TADS. My ACQ was FXD. Thank you / Danke schön
  13. Hello I have a question. When I’m in pilots seat, I use George to find targets, no problems, I use video display to see the targets, no problems. But isn’t it possible to see it in the helmet display? It would be nice to see a direction and distance to the target in the helmet display. best regards
  14. Hello sorry if it have been asked before, but then I have not seen it. If I have a perfect auto hover from the pilots seat (back seat), both attitude and altitude hold, no problems. Then I can change to CP/G seat with out any problems. The Apache is still stable. But when I change back to the pilot seat, the helicopter stop auto hover. The attitude and altitude hold is turned off. Is it only me, or a known bug? I don’t think I have any double bindings. Best regards
  15. Thanks. I will do that. regards
