  1. Any word, DCS guys? Will we ever be able to activate on Steam? Or maybe "upgrade" to Steam? Thanks.
  2. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd pay a "Steam upgrade" fee if that would help the process along. I'm not going to re-buy the game for a full $40, but, for example, I'd pay $10 to activate my key on Steam (or get a new license to replace the old one or something similar).
  3. Thank you for the definitive reply, Wags. I guess I'll either have to wait y'all out or buy it from Direct2Drive and suck up the evil that is Starforce.
  4. You don't need to worry about your FPS taking a dive, Kilo. Steam runs just fine in the background while playing very demanding games (e.g., Crysis, Supreme Commander, etc.). It would be just fine with DCS Black Shark. But I'm still hoping for something official in this thread as to whether a Steam version is coming.... Devs? Moderators? Anyone else in the know?
  5. Just bumping the thread. I really want to buy DCS Black Shark, but I don't want to make the mistake of buying it with the crappy DRM in place if it's going to be out on Steam soon.
