  1. Hi, folks. Reinstalled BS after quite some time (got excited by BS2). As I was reconfiguring my controls I seem to be having a problem with the collective. In the Options screen, under Axis Tune, everything seems fine. The graph matches the motion of the slider/throttle on the joystick (Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold). Looks good. In the cockpit, however, the response is completely different. I can move the throttle/collective halfway up before the on-screen collective begins moving. If I max the collective all the way up (engines off, of course) and then lower it, the lowering on-screen collective matches the position of the throttle/collective on the joystick. Just the upwards motion of the collective is out of sync. Even if I lower it half way and then try to raise it again, the on-screen doesn't move. Again, the graph under Axis Tune is fine, all motion matches. I don't seem to be having a problem in TKOH so I am pretty sure the joystick is okay. Thoughts? Mick
  2. I wish that were the case, but I am running the latest 9.4 drivers... Driver Packaging Version 8.60-090316a1-078234C-ATI Catalyst™ Version 09.4 Provider ATI Technologies Inc. 2D Driver Version 6.14.10.6936 2D Driver File Path System/CurrentControlSet/Control/Video/{572DA7B7-870D-461D-BCD8-D84CAA11154F}/0000 Direct3D Version 6.14.10.0655 OpenGL Version 6.14.10.8577 Catalyst™ Control Center Version 2009.0317.2131.36802 AIW/VIVO WDM Driver Version 6.14.10.6238 AIW/VIVO WDM SP Driver Version 6.14.10.6238 Addmittedly, Sapphire had to tweak them a bit to make the 4in1 SLI work properly since they are the only ones that make the card. Do you think I need to install Hydravision (ATIs multimon support dingus) as well? The WINDOWS display properties (not thre ATI Catalyst Control panel) indicates that it IS stretched: Mick
  3. Perhaps I can get some advice... I've been trying this myself for some time and I don't have those options in my Catalyst Control Panel: And as such, can't select the option to get the monitor stretched. When I select multi-monitor in the game, I get them all squished into one screen and it completely ignores the second monitor. This is on XP-SP2 with an ATI Radeon 4850x2. You might have seen my previous post about this issue and Ultramon, but the result is the same with or without Ultramon running. I am beginning to think Ultramon isn't involved. Any thoughts? Mick
  4. Hi, everyone. Long time reader, new player, first post :) First, let me say that I've read many many posts that have helped me to start up and fly the KA-50. I am sure I'd never have been able to do it without everyone's help (even if you didn't know you were helping me). And well, by fly, I mean take off, wobble, fly off uncontrollably and then explode. But hey, at least I can start it up from memory now :) Anyway, I decided I wanted to try to get a multimonitor setup running. I searched the forums and read through the various troubleshooting threads and the wiki page and felt I had a good grasp on what my lua files needed to look like. I have 2 LCDs, a 20inch and a 19inch wide screen. I figured I'd leave the camera in it's place on the 20 inch and move ABRIS and SHKVAL to the right monitor. They are, however, running different resolutions. But I figured I could handle that via lua files. I am running an ATI card with Ultramon handling the dual desktop duties. With the lua files in place and the options file edited... Black Shark doesn't even pretend to use the second monitor. I tested with using the built-in multimonitor options and it tries to put all three screens onto the 20inch screen, ignoring the second monitor entirely. Has anyone else had any experience with Black Shark and Ultramon? My next step is to try disabling it, but I figured at the very least, I should get a munged screen, not one that pretends not to exist. Thoughts? Mick
